Established in 1996.

State pest control opened in 1996 and we specialized in Termite issues such as real estate inspections and termite control. We became the most trusted inspection and termite treatment company for many real estate brokers and agents in the central Ky area. In 2010 we bought Standard pest control from Raymond Johnsons Widow. Raymond had owned Standard pest control for many years and was a good friend of mine. Standard was known for great customer service in the field of general pest control such as roach, ant and mice. This company was a perfect fit for us and we have expanded to be one of the best pest control companies in the state. We now specialize in bed bug control with 2 people that deal with nothing but bed bug issues. we have completed over 4,000 bed bug treatments, 30,000 termite inspections 3,000 termite treatments and countless general pest and stinging pest jobs. I have been in the pest control business for most of my life. My uncles were pest control company owners and I grew up in this business. I have seen many changes in the business over the decades and am somewhat of a ‘bug nerd”. When I opened my own company in 1996 I wanted to become the very best at being able to solve any pest problem that may come my way. I love the pest control business and study not only the insects and latest treatment methods but also the history of pest control. As we have grown I have learned to surround myself with only the finest people that love the business as much as I do. The result is what we have now. All of my people are cross trained to be able to handle any issue. We have a system for bed bug extermination that is unlike anything in the state of Ky. and our bed bug Tech’s have a 6 month training period that must be completed before they can do bed bug treatments.
