Richard Childress Racing Museum & Gift Shop

My husband is a huge fan of RCR and for his birthday it was the place he wanted to visit. At first I was not really excited, I’m not really a race fan, but we always do a fun birthday trip to a place on each other’s bucket list.
As someone who isn’t a race fan, I was really impressed with the way the museum walked me through the evolution of a business and the importance of the people who helped make this successful.
My husband was thrilled with the museum and could recall when he watched certain races. It was nice to be with him as he relived childhood memories. This museum does that it, gives you information so you can understand how a business was created and why it continues to be successful.
I enjoyed the way they promoted the importance of rapid prototyping and pushed people to explore new ideas to help them win.
This is a must stop for a race fan and as a non-​race fan you will enjoy the way the museum walks you through building a business.
