Designed for children, ages 1 — 5, the STRIDER™ Balance Bike is lightweight and features an adjustable seat and handlebars to accommodate your growing child. And we also offer an optional seat with a longer post for taller children.

History

Established in 2011.

We started our company 2011 to help young kids learn to balance. As a parent, Kevin Grigsby became frustrated with the drawbacks of traditional beginner’s bikes.

«Tricycle tip-​overs» and «training-​wheel wobbles» create a fear, hesitancy, and dislike of bike riding. And, after tinkering with several ideas, the answer hit Ryan: Balance and coordination should be taught before pedaling.

Yes, the traditional methods of learning to ride a bike have it backwards. Tricycles and training wheels place too much of the focus on learning to pedal.

Bike riding becomes a breeze when you teach your child balance and coordination before pedaling.

As Time Passed

We found our selves riding all over town. My son even sings a song… wheels on the bike go round and round, round and round, all through the park.

From that point on we changed our whole structure of business and have created and molded the pre-​bike sales and service that you know and enjoy today.
