Havird Oil Co. was established in 1959 by Paul and Janelle Havird. Palmetto Propane, Inc. was established in 1964 to provide ice, propane gas, gas equipment and outdoor cooking equipment to the Midlands of South Carolina. Serving our customers for over 50 years, we are a family-​owned gas specialty store. We have found offering quality and service paramount to our success.

American Breast Cancer Foundation

Palmetto Propane is «on a roll» when it comes to raising awareness about cancer, and raising funds for the American Breast Cancer Foundation. Our 3,200-gallon propane bubble gum pink delivery truck will bring attention to the issue of breast cancer. The truck lovingly named, «Ms. Kat», in honor of Kathryn Miller, who just retired from Palmetto Propane and Havird Oil after over 25 years of employment. For Kathryn, a cancer survivor, and all the other women affected by this disease, Palmetto Propane made the decision to donate a to the American Breast Cancer Foundation for breast cancer research. We look forward to seeing our «Ms. Kat» on a roll around and in your community.
