I bought my sofa at the old location on Richmond Road almost 13 years ago. Unfortunately I had to part with it a month ago after it would not fit into my new apartment. Needless to say, I was very sad. But the fact that I’d had my sofa for 12 years ago should say something about the quality. It’s survived multiple moves, being squeezed in and out of tiny NYC apartments and still looked brand new. It’s funny that, here I am, in New York City, and I can’t seem to find a new sofa that would even compare to the quality, style, durability or comfort of my Norwalk sofa. I also can’t tell you how many glasses (or bottles) of wine have been spilled on it, with no worry.
I always question Unilocal reviews in general, but after seeing the previous negative reviews, I thought it was imperative to comment. I cannot tell you how much I wish I was back in Lexington right now and could pop in and order a new custom sofa and have it ready in less than a month. I realize now that I was completely spoiled and took that short time frame for granted.
You cannot find that level of quality, choice of fabric and short lead time Anywhere for the same price.

I had the most wonderful experience with the people and the products from this store. The furniture is beautiful and high quality. The majority of what Norwalk sells is classic, it will look as good in 20 years as it does today. However, the real magic of Norwalk is in the people who work there. Every single person I encountered was a true professional. They listen to you and help bring your vision to life. Designer Justin Morris helped me design my mother’s new condo here in Lexington and it turned out so beautifully that she cannot wait to move in. Justin is extremely talented and his work and attention to detail is impeccable. More than that, I didn’t expect. However, Justin really cared about my mother and family and worked so hard to complete the condo so we could «surprise her for her birthday». Mom loved everything and couldn’t believe how everything was tailored to her tastes even though she did not select each item personally. They did everything; furniture, lighting, accessories, bedding, drapes, reupholstering of the furniture she already owned and loved. Everything is beautifully done and high quality. I would highly recommend Norwalk and especially Justin Morris without reservation. In fact, Justin is coming look at my home next week!

This store sells cheap JUNK at HIGH prices and they DO NOT stand behind their furniture. They are good at telling you what you want to hear and then once you buy they refuse to uphold the promises they made! I would never recommend this store!!! Save your money and avoid the HEADACHE that comes with these people!

Avoid! After talking my husband into purchasing more expensive couches from Norwalk with the idea that they are better quality and would last longer, I am now eating my words! The cushions have been a disaster and needed to be replaced. They went completely flat (even after appropriate rotating). The company was no help at all and even admitted the cushions were bad but would not replace them for us. The color of the fabric has changed dramatically. I know there is normal fade when exposed to sun but they have turned about 5 different colors. They look awful! Needless to say, I would not recommend them to anyone and will never be purchasing from Norwalk again.
