Darlene was incredibly friendly and made the tasting fun. The tasting room is definitely the most rustic one I’ve been to, but don’t let the building put you off. The wines weren’t the best I’ve ever had, but there were several we really enjoyed(particularly the white buffalo). There’s a great range of wines from dry to semi-sweet to sweet. There’s also some incredibly creative winemaking going on at native vines with stuff like the green tea wine. Native Vines is worth a stop for a tasting, especially if you enjoy/are open to semi-sweet to sweet wines and appreciate creativity. Pick up bottles of what you like too, since they sometimes sell out for extended periods of time and there’s stuff here you won’t see anywhere else.

Ran into this winery on our way home. Such a nice older gentleman. So sweet he mad out visit just that much nicer. For sweet wines, not bad, I am not a sweet wine lover but his were well made. We also like the green tea wine. So we found the place well worth the stop.

Great wine! I love their semi sweet and sweet wines. The Blackberry wine is my favorite!!! I love the privacy of the winery. I like that it is the first Native American owned winery in the US.

Not sure if they were just having a bad day? But our visit left something to be desired. Not unpleasant, but not relaxing or engaging, either. Unfortunately none of the wines we chose were very good, but in fairness we only sampled about half of the wines they sell. It’s down a dirt road if you’re seriously concerned about where you take your vehicle, but the road seems well maintained and presented us with no problems.
