Lakewood Park Apartments

Aesthetically appealing, but cheaply assembled. Floors dip requiring furniture to be leveled with plastic discs, laminate floors with uneven edges exposed, and very little support between upper and lower units resulting in audible movement of neighbors. For the price, quality is lacking a bit. I also often feel as though I’m living in an elementary school with the amount of obnoxious children running around in the courtyard… Parents with no regard to how loud and annoying their kids are and how that may be affecting their neighbors. There is a park practically on the apartment property, yet there seems to be a circus of of children running amuck whenever they’re not attending school. Also, too many dog owners ignoring the feces disposal and leash rules, resulting in having to walk through the grassy areas as if there are land mines at any give spot! Overall, nice but almost a wanna be upscale living community as standards aren’t congruent with an ACTUAL upscale apartment community. Would be quiet if it weren’t for construction and children. Location is great, but plan for traffic at 8:00 and 3:30 d/​t Henry Clay High School on Lakeshore Drive.
