I have been in the medical/​academic speech-​language pathology environment for over 20 years. This experience led to my mindfulness meditation practice & teaching. Blending both clinical cognitive & eastern philosophies, I attempt to make these concepts accessible & practical. My interest in sports and anatomy/​physiology led me to further my education and become licensed and nationally certified in therapeutic massage. Kimber Green Therapies is a therapy and rehab office offering services in: clinical/​therapeutic massage, mindfulness meditation and speech-​language pathology.

History

Established in 2014.

I am excited have recently moved my private practice from Lincoln, Nebraska to the Lexington, MA area!

If you are in need of a therapeutic deep tissue massage, please consider Kimber Green therapies in Lexington! Kimber combines the best of the east and west in her work. A thorough knowledge and understanding of the human musculoskeletal anatomy (with an intuitive sense of exactly where your trigger points are) along with her background in mindfulness meditation makes her an amazing therapist. As an active yogi and former distance runner myself, her experience with working on athletic bodies was much needed and appreciated. The office environment was clean, professional, smoothing and easy to get to! I’m lucky to know quite a few really great massage therapists and Kimber is one of the best!

Kimber’s massages are absolutely wonderful in every way. She makes sure her clients get the pressure they want (she goes as deep as a person asks for) and is interested in the whole person, really making for an effective massage. I have a hard time finding massage therapists who apply the right pressure and who leave me feeling revitalized. She is also very aware of what active bodies need. I’m an avid cyclist and have found her massages get at what I need to ride well. I very highly recommend her!!!

I’m a Massage Therapist and am very particular about the work I receive. I want it to be highly skilled and effective, and I want to leave the session feeling good. Anything short of that is annoying. Kimber’s work fits the bill to a tee. She is professional, caring and very encouraging. Her work is deep and fluid and she is adept at pressure adjustment (going deeper or lighter as needed). Just as important as her technical skills, are her communication skills. She is open and easy to talk to. She listens and responds. She works in collaboration with my body and mind and makes me feel completely comfortable about giving her feedback. Kimber’s massage is nothing short of excellent and I will definitely be seeing her again!

Kimber is fantastic! I’m pregnant and she knows just how to adjust to my changing body. Her open communication makes you feel at ease as she works with you to find just the right pressure. My body has never felt better, even pregnant.
