We have provided award winning results for our local, regional and national clients in several categories. During our 41 years, we have concentrated on Commercial, industrial, aerial, architectural, Product and illustrative photography.

Recently we have been sought out for our art reproduction and photo restoration abilities. Photography is both an art and a craft with a pre-​requisite of a passion for detail.

In addition to photography, Impact has been widely respected for the finest display prints and finishing services in central Kentucky. Whether from your film original or digital image, we are well equipped and experienced in optimizing and enhancing your images into masterpieces.

History

Established in 1974.

From a 1500 sq. ft. office style space we moved to a 4000 sq. ft. warehouse where we built darkrooms, kitchen, offices and everything ourselves to become the largest photographic facility to date. At first we catered to advertising agencies and small industrial businesses. One of our favorite clients was the company who created Long John Silvers seafood restaurants for whom we created many food photographs for point of sale use. Now we focus more on manufacturing clients and direct relationships with the end user.

Business Owner

One of my best friends in high school showed-​up with a cool camera around his neck. After a brief conversation about his interest in shooting for the yearbook, I grabbed a camera from home and we learned together how to take pictures that needed to be made. From the start, the camera was a tool and not a toy. The yearbook director showed me the camera basics and gave us assignments I never put the camera down except to pick-​up another one.
