Been there once for eye exam for myself and my son, and buy a prescription sunglass. The doctor there was friendly and patient which helped a lot since my son was always afraid of doctors. At the end, I got a very good sunglass that felt very comfortable to wear. They must find the perfect prescription glasses for my eyes. Since this was the first time I brought a pair of glasses in this country, I would like to get another pair of glasses but frames and glasses choices were way more expensive in my options compared to the prices in another country when I lived there, but that might be the U.S. thing. Also, I had not been given choices for glasses, so I guess they may only had one type of glasses for prescription sunglasses or they simply forgot to ask me and made the choice fir me.

Always cheerful and greets you in and out. I would have to say they set the Benz mark for service and professionalism. They count on their customers satisfaction more than their sales. You can’t complain about price of oil change when you are driving a Mercedes. You have to think outside the box, one size doesn’t fit all and Walmart or Macy’s is not the world.

If you are looking for the best selection of frames that are totally up to date — the coolest of cool — look no further than Eye Look. I have bought several pairs of glasses from them and the customer service from Paul was outstanding. He communicated with me on every step and wouldn’t let me leave until I was totally satisfied. He continually went above and beyond to make sure the experience I had there was top notch — and it was. Highly recommended!

Awesome!!! My whole family has been going to Paul and Nora for years. They have frames that you will not see anywhere else. My husband, daughter and myself get numerous compliments on our frames. It’s a fun place to shop and both Paul and Nora know what frames are best suited for your face. We have never had a problem and we have been going there for over 15 years.

I was on vacation and staying in the Lexington area when one of the lenses on my Prada reading glasses popped out. Fortunately, I saw Eye Look Optical and walked in to see if they could help me. They were so friendly and welcoming. The woman who greeted me took my glasses and disappeared to the back room. Very shortly thereafter, a very nice gentleman walked out with my FIXED glasses. Then the woman (I didn’t get her name!) asked if I had a hard case for them. I told her that I did not bring a hard case. I was trying to travel light and only brought the soft pouch. So she went to the back and presented me a slim hard case which fit my glasses perfectly. When I asked how much for the service, they said «no charge.»
I am so grateful for their immediate service and willingness to help me. If I lived in the area, I would be a customer for life. Plus they has such a cool and amazing collection of fun, artsy, funky glasses. Very «hip» — and for those of us who can’t pull off the «funky» look — they have traditional normal eyewear too. Great shop — great service — excellent selection. What more could you want? THANK YOU so much Eye Look! You truly helped make a near disaster (broken reading glasses) a non-​issue.

This place is simply the best. The owners Norah and Paul are fantastic at helping you select frames that will complement your face, and hands down they have the most fashionable frames from Europe. If you are an artist, architect, designer, or just someone who wants to look great in your eyeglasses, this is the place for you. I wore contacts primarily for most of my adult life, and I switched back to glasses after getting my first pair at Eye Look; I will never switch back.

Stopped by here to browse for new pair of glasses. The store has a nice atmosphere, but their prices are higher than elsewhere and the selection felt outdated.
After the lady helping me found out that I didn’t have my prescription with me, she was cold and dismissive.

This is a place that understands and delivers on service. They might at times be more expensive than some other places, but I believe it’s a appropriate trade-​off, because the owners and the staff are the best. They’re all both friendly and highly skilled. Look at your glasses as an investment and as a purchase you’ll live with for at least a couple of years — and then go here to buy them.

After spending almost $ 800 on lenses, the staff failed to call to alert that my glasses were ready. I have had to chase them down only for them to say «we called you.» However I had NO RECORD of a call or usually when a message is left I get an email linked to my phone number alerting to a message. NOTHING. Not great customer service for the amount spent.

AWESOME!!! If you want fun, unique, high-​quality frames that you will get lots of compliments on and not see anywhere else… then you have to go to Eye Look and ask for Nora! She is an artist when selecting frames. She travels around the world to different shows and such selecting great frames for the shop. She can even keep an eye out for you if you are looking for something specific.
Granted they are not cheap, but in most cases you are wearing glasses EVERYDAY for years… so you have to think of your glasses as an accessory. And how doesn’t LOVE to accessorize? You can always change lenses if your Rx changes or if you get tired of the frames you can make them sunglasses… so really when you think about it… it is not that expensive if you take care of glasses.
They have styles ranging from very funky and wild to more conservative. Service is stellar as well.
Nora takes the time to actually find something that looks great on YOU! My first time in there, I was sure I wanted Chanel frames… she was honest about how they looked when she could have just sold them to me. Instead, she showed me other brands and I found frames I love and get tons of compliments on!
I just bought my second pair from Eye Look and I could not be happier… seriously there were like 3 other pairs I liked too that I could have bought… next time!!!

My husband and I have bought at least a dozen eyeglasses over the years from Paul and Nora at Eyelook and have always been extremely impressed by the quality of the final product. I, in particular, value the skill with which Paul puts into creating each pair of glasses, because my eyesight isn’t the best, and having high quality lenses makes a huge difference. But I also love the selection of frames. If I have to wear glasses, I can at least have them be original and striking! I always get Paul to help me pick the frames, and I get compliments all the time – recently from a flight attendant who said, «I’m so happy you woke up before we had to prepare for landing, because I wanted to tell you how much I love your glasses!» At Eyelook I value the huge frame selection I can’t find easily elsewhere, the friendly staff led by 2 professionals who truly know what they’re talking about, and the highest quality lenses I’ve ever come across. This is a superb shop, not only with an extensive selection but with rarer still simply extraordinary ongoing product support and customer care. I have brought glasses back for repair and adjustments for reasons varying from my own carelessness to my dog’s having developed a fondness for whatever Montblanc makes its frame’s arms out of, and been taken care of promptly for a minimal or no additional charge. I am a loyal customer for life, not only out of gratitude, but for the simple and compelling reason that a higher level of service and care for clients cannot be found. First rate.

I made an appt with Nora after being intrigued by these positive reviews. When Nora finally was ready for me she took one look at my face and went scavenging around for different pairs. Contrary to the previous reviews she did let me look in the mirror as she had me try on her frames. I ended up going with the first frame she put on me («that is no accident»). She was quite the personality and was very reasonable to work with without being pushy. She put a few «out there» frames on me that were a little crazy but the one I chose were complimentary to my face and fashion-​forward but not over the top — exactly what I was looking for. Expensive but I do love the glasses and found it a good experience overall. I have had to return to the shop a few times after the purchase for fittings, adjustments, and other issues, and the staff has been extremely courteous and attentive to my concerns — great customer service. There can be quite a difference in activity at the shop depending on the day/​time, sometimes you have to wait a bit regardless of whether it is busy or slow. Nevertheless, I have been really pleased with the staff’s customer service during some of the initial hiccups with my glasses. Parking is street and metered.

I went to a glasses superstore and was surprised at how limited the selection was, there were a lot of glasses that were pretty much the same and everything looked pretty mediocre on me.
So I went to Eye Look because of the Unilocal reviews. I thought maybe a small store would be a good place to get personal advice.
I walked in and immediately found myself in the hands of Jill. She asked me what styles I was looking for, and started pulling frames off the wall and studying how I looked in them, setting a few aside that she liked. During this stage, she would not even let me look in the mirror! She told me just trust her, and I did.
Once she had about a dozen picked out, I sat down and looked at myself in the mirror with each pair. She talked to me about how the color and shapes worked with my face. They were unique, beautiful frames, and I started to feel almost like I was picking out jewelry – which in a way it is if you think about it, it’s something you wear every day so it may as well flatter you.
Eventually we winnowed down to three, it was so hard to decide, I almost bought two! But I finally settled on a beautiful pair.
The selection is extensive, and they have a lot of interesting, funky, unusual frames, in every color and finish you can imagine, some of them were like sculpture or works of pop art. Even the understated ones have subtle features that make them especially elegant and special.
If you want to invest in a pair of glasses with frames that really make you stand out and look your best, this is the place to go.

I bought my first pair of glasses here recently. Paul, Nora, and the rest of the staff were incredibly warm and attentive — beyond what I’ve received in practically any other store, anywhere. I spent a *very* long time over several visits selecting that pair, and love them. Did I ever think I would enjoy wearing glasses? No. I’m surprised to say I really do!
I’m pretty sure they can help anyone with any glasses/​contacts need… but go here especially if you’re looking for glasses that are distinct, attractive, and fit your personality well. They have an Eye for this…

This is the best place to get glasses. Paul, the owner is very warm and friendly. He wants you to get the glasses that look good on you. That is why he asks Nora to help you. She picks out the perfect pair and then lets you look in the mirror.
I had my last pair for three years. Every week someone would tell me that they loved my glasees. My partner had the same experience. I have a new pair now. Let’s see what happens.

This is the eyeglass place that was once in Winchester. Back then, it was called «Eye Look Optical». It was there for years. Paul Dimos was the original owner. He sold the business and left. Then, he came back. Then, he sold the Winchester location and set up shop here, in Lexington.
He rocks. I don’t like being served by anyone else other than him. He knows his stuff.
Expensive! Very expensive! But awesome!
This is how you get glasses here: His wife sits you down and tells you SHE will choose your new frames. Trust me — you need to trust her. She will bring out dozens of different styles and try them on your face. You don’t get to look in a mirror. After several rounds, it comes down to 2 or 3 frames. NOW you get to look in the mirror. Choose one. Or all three if you’re rich.
Go back in any time to have your frames adjusted because your 4 year old nephew kicked you in the face. They also clean them for free and give you free little bottles of cleaner. Paul’s wicked nice.
Most people who have glasses are passionate about «their» glasses guy. Paul is mine and this is where you’ll find him.
