Specialties

Kids in grades 2 – 8 can come to Empow Studios for our classes, February vacation, April vacation and summer camps focused on video gamemaking, animation, engineering, LEGO robotics, Minecraft animation, movie production, and digital design.

We also offer an After-​School Club — a unique, after-​school program that offers kids a chance to work on engaging, empowering projects, a place to get their homework done, and time to explore and let the imagination run free.

History

Established in 2006.

Empow Studios (formerly Empow Learning) operates in the greater Boston, Massachusetts area, with its main studio in downtown Lexington.

We are committed to creating transformative technology experiences that empower young learners to discover their passions and to make lasting contributions to their own future lives and to the world around them. We do this by offering creative technology after-​school programs, summer and school vacation workshops, birthday parties, and other forms of awesome goodness powered by technology and good teaching.

Meet the Business Owner

Leonid T.

Business Owner

Leonid is the founder of Empow Studios (formerly Empow Learning). He came to this role through a love of education and technology, and a stubborn desire to build something of lasting value at the intersection of the two fields. He has been building technology teaching tools for K-​12 and Higher Education since before the dinosaurs roamed the plains of greater Boston area, and the web was something that appeared in the corner of your room if you didn’t dust for a while. Aside from producing occasional and spectacular meteor-​shower events, his proudest achievements include driving his Honda CB750 coast-​to-​coast across the United States (and back), skiing down Mt. Elbrus, and establishing Empow Learning.
