Established in 1982.

Our business started in 1982 on E. High St. by Jimmy and his Father and has continued to serve the Lexington Area ever since. The name «Charlie’s» comes from his father who originally started the business and named it after his oldest son, Charlie. Now Jimmy’s son Chris runs the day to day business with the same low pricing and friendly service, with the help of Jimmy who’s still there to greet his long time customers!

Charlie’s is the best auto repair place in Lexington. They are honest, hardworking, fair, and most importantly, really good at what they do. I found out about them through my boss, who also swears by them. Jimmie and Chris are awesome.

These guys came recommended to me by a friend who gets all her pre-​owned car purchases vetted by them, and all her repair work. I described the problem to Chris over the phone, and he immediately suggested the likely problem, whereas the dealership had charged me $ 190 to run a diagnostic and claimed they were baffled. I took it in, the problem *was* exactly what he’d thought it was! it was simple! and he fixed it in a couple of hours. No runaround, and no «mysterious» malfunctions later. They are super and honest professionals.
