I love this place and so does my dog! They have wonderful, healthy treats for dog and do custom food specific for your finiky dog and his/​or her finiky appetite. My dogs absolutely love the cake balls! The staff members are kind, courteous and extremely knowledgeable. If you love your dog and seeing them go crazy playing with quality toys (that last more than an hour), scrumpous treats and delicious food then you’ve got to stop by the Bluegrass Barkery. I have been to both locations and they are both just wonderful!

We spoil our pets. We are «those people». Do I feel shame when I walk into the Barkery? No way.
Pros:
–Extremely friendly and helpful staff.
–They have dried duck and chicken feet. My dogs go nuts for these things. The husband hates when I stick one up my sleeve and walk around with it like it’s my strong hand.
–It’s not Nicholasville Road. That road just sucks. This one is off Man O War. MoW just sucks a little less.
–A variety of fairly priced foods and treats.
Cons:
Limited parking after 5PM — so I encourage you to hit that place before the eaters show up to have dinner at the neighboring places.
