We specialize in planning wedding for same-​sex couples. It is an honor and privilege to design unforgettable weddings for same-​sex couples. Basic civil rights, especially including the freedom to love whoever you choose, are something we strongly advocate for. We are passionate about planning weddings for our same-​sex couples.

History

Established in 2011.

Taylor Singh established Avasara Events in the autumn of 2011. Since then, it has emerged as a première planner of corporate and private events in the Boston area and New England.

Ms. Singh’s years of experience as an office manager and executive assistant for venture capital and private equity firms in the Boston area have contributed significantly to her unparalleled abilities in organization and originality in the events space.

Along with her team, Ms. Singh brings a knowledge of Boston and New England and a sensitivity to the nature and tone of the event at hand to her clients. Both corporate and private events alike have flourished with assistance from Avasara.

The dynamic nature of Avasara can clearly be attributed to its founder’s lifelong passion for and years of experience in planning events that are memorable, tasteful, and replete with personalized touches. Whether it’s a board meeting or a bridal shower, Avasara bestows its clients with stunning events.

Ms. Singh describes the emergence of her idea to begin Avasara events as a logical continuation of her childhood, as well as her professional career:

«Many of my life experiences have led me towards creating this company – starting with the elaborate parties my mother and aunt Sue would throw, at which I would be called upon to help decorate, prepare meals, serve hors d’oeuvres, and cleanup — all with a smile.»

Her love of event planning and execution continued to develop during her years in high school and at university, as she «worked in food-​service as a waitress, bartender and caterer for weddings.»
