AAMCO Transmissions & Total Car Care

I brought my truck in because the master cylinder was leaking, after 3 days I get a call that it is leaking and I need a new caliper. Mind you the calipers are all new like 2 months old. They had the truck a total of 7 days, when I went to pick it up the pedal went to the floor stop without leaving the parking lot. The manager and technician came out look it over and said that’s just the ABS. I now have to bleed the system myself, I would advise anyone to never ever go there. If you vehicle needs service take it across the street to 4t’s, at least they do the work asked for and righr the first time,

Been having a pesky problem with identifying the issue behind A/​C blower malfunction. Having recently moved to the Southern Maryland area, I was reluctant to find a new mechanic and pay the costs for an unidentified issue.
Fortunately, AAMCO made it very clear that they are more interested in gaining long-​term clientele and helping me understand the issues with the vehicle, rather than trying to rack up a ton of charges for maintenance.
After having the vehicle in the shop for several days, the mechanics had identified the issue, but needed more time to fix the issue. Instead of charge me for the time spent identifying the issue, James insisted no payment was necessary since nothing was actually repaired. Although this is logically and courteous, it is certainly not commonplace in other auto shops. Needless to say, I will be going to AAMCO for future auto needs.

I was extremely impressed with the customer service and work Aamco did on our Ford Escape. We are a military family and just transferred from the West Coast. We found trouble with our ABS on Sunday night and were able to call Aamco bright and early on Monday morning, James took my call and was very professional and informative from the beginning on the status and diagnostics. We are extremely happy with the work that was done and they have emailed and called to follow up with our family vehicle. It is always comforting to know that the place you take your vehicle for repair cares for the customer’s needs and safety. We will continue to use Aamco with our future needs, even just an oil change! Thank you to James and to Carl Merewtiz for taking care of us.
