Long wait. Extremely good food. Simple ingredients. Incredible flavor. Best burrito I’ve ever had. Order anything and you likely won’t be disappointed.

If you’re out late and craving tacos, burritos or anything else of the sort then look no further than Taco Hut! Don’t be fooled by the location, yes it’s in a gas station, and make the trek to this hidden gem. Amazing food. Worth the wait and travel.

This place is bomb. The only bad thing is that they get busy and when they do, it’s takes forever for food

Completely unorganized and lacking serious management skills. The wait is ridiculous because they have no sort of system to complete orders in order! Very frustrating and not worth it

When my boyfriend pulled up to a gas station and told me we were eating there I can admit I was highly skeptical. I mean gas station food??? Well the tacos slapped the doubt right outta me. They were delicious! I got the chicken tacos plate with corn tortillas and green salsa. The chicken was so tender. They put some fresh cilantro on it to make the heat in the salsa pop. The only downside is the beans were just regular pinto beans. but still delicious and got eaten anyways! I now live 40min from there and go there at least once a week. I’m addicted to the taco hut! IBut word of advice… A LOT of people know this place is amazing. So don’t get fussy if it takes a second to get your meal. It’s soo worth the wait.

I went here during lunch with a co-worker. I had the chicken tacos. They are just ok, not much filling inside of them. They ask if you want everything on them, but there was very little chicken and pretty much no lettuce or tomato. There was a little cheese. They provide a lot of cilantro and onion on the side with a wedge of lime. There is a spicy green sauce on the side it was ok. I won’t go out of my way to visit again, but if my co-workers pick this spot I would consider it.

Delicious. Yes there is a wait, but you got to wait for great things. I got their beef tacos with flour, as is(so with cilantro and onions). Put a little lime on it, and a little hot sauce if you like it spicy! Mmmm

This place is so awesome. I really enjoy the tacos and quesadillas. It is in a sketchy area and the gas station is iffy but if you can get pass all that you are in for a real treat. I don’t eat the rice and beans bc they weren’t that good when I first tried them. I would call ahead and order especially on the weekends because the wait can be sometime extensive. It’s also a really good price.

Well let’s be honest, it’s not the most appealing place, but if your willing to take a chance and try something new you’ll discover treasure. Friendly people and awesome authentic food at great prices… I felt bad paying so little for what I got.

I’ve been here twice. The first time I had the taco plate: chicken, corn tortillas and rice and beans. The second time I had barabacoa tacos. This spot is open 24⁄7 but located at a sketchy intersection. The last time I went in I heard the store clerk say that the place was robbed 5x by the same person in the past couple of days(crazy huh?!). 1. Tacos are very good especially for the price 2. Don’t bother to order the rice and beans … They’re not worth it 3. I’d question going here during the night time 4. Salsa is watered down

It’s not that great. If you do go, get the barbacoa tacos, nothing else. Beef and al pastor were both dry and seemed over-cooked. The tortillas were not fresh made, and actually crispy on the edges. I guess for $ 1.25 each you can’t expect higher quality. Regardless, I won’t be making the 15 minute drive here again.

I really liked the tacos the sauce was very good too. I did not feel like the girl taking my order understood English well or she just didn’t want to give me the other sauce. But all in al I really liked then

Late night street tacos… at a gas station? One, this is Texas. Two, they were sooo good. Three, it’s cheap! Four, it’s open 24 hours. What more do you need? At a Quik Mart in Lewisville, Tx you will find some good eatin’ at 2am and after a visit to the drinking establishments in Denton, this was a welcome idea. Why go to Awful Waffle, Denny’s or IHOP when you can have tacos? So, that’s exactly what we did. The place was quite busy and we actually had to wait to get our food. Three tacos with onions and cilantro. Chicken, carnitas and barbacoa. All three were excellent and had great flavors and the sauces were pretty good too. It’s not the most ideal place for some good food, but it was just that. Just go. You’ll thank me later. In fact, go now.

I love to try every taco place I can find. I must say even though the English speaking service is hard to come by and it is difficult at times to know when your order is ready the food is 110% legit!!! Great prices and I would drive 30 minutes out of my way to get this any time of the day. Good news is they are 24⁄7 amen!!! Must Go stop reading and start eating

I don’t know if this is a Dallas-only thing or part of a larger trend that I’m unaware of, but this practice of a marrying up a 24 – 7 taqueria with a convenience store AND gas station is GENIUS! This is the 2nd combination I’ve seen in Dallas. What’s not to like? Want a late night bite and beer, no problem! Breakfast burrito and gas refill on the rental car on the way to the airport, we got you! Lot of menu items for an actual meal or pick and chose a couple of items for a snack, it’s all good. Taco Hut offers tacos that are slightly different from the norm– in addition to the usual cilantro, raw onions, and green sauce, they also offer to add sautéed onions and a roast jalapeño. The breakfast burritos were the bomb too! There’s a take out window but counter space and tables are available in the Kwik Mart for in-store dining as well. I visited Taco Hut three times in my five day trip to Dallas! Definitely recommend and will repeat when my travels bring me up to the Lewisville area!

Yep… breakfast tacos in a Kwik Mart. Made a trip based on reviews. Tried egg chorizo cheese and egg ham and cheese, on corn tortillas, get the chorizo. Smaller sized tacos for $ 1.50 with cheese. Both red and green sauces were just ok, a bit thin and watery. Breakfast tacos are good, have had worse and have had better. When I get shredded cheddar cheese and not queso blanco, doesn’t quite fit. If you are driving by, definitely stop in, but going out of your way to grab a taco here… not so much.

True Mexican food and a damn good hamburger. Nestled in a filling station and you wonder where you go to get in but just come on in sit down order your meal everything is reasonable and delicious. If you didn’t know better you’d think you’re in South Texas, it’s just like the way mama used to make

I honestly don’t see what all the hype is about. These are just OK to me… I have definitely had better. I like that they take credit cards. It’s your typical taco joint in a gas station. I don’t think its worth the drive but I was out here getting my car looked at. If I was in the area maybe I would go back for another round. Bring cash for the elote stand.

This place is a little gem located in the gas station. You can order at the window or inside. They have some tables inside to sit at. I saw someone pick up a to-go order they called in. There is usually several people getting elotes from a lady at the cart outside of the order window. They must be good although it’s not my thing. The taco hut has tacos, burritos, quesadillas, tortas and soup that are delicious. Service doesn’t take too long and prices are amazing. 2 of us had a burrito, 3 tacos, chips n salsa and 2 sodas for $ 11!
