We started out at the Shamrock Service Station on Hwy 121 then move to Old Town Lewisville on Mill Street. We out grew that location and moved down the street to our present location. We have served the communities of Lewisville, Flower Mound and surrounding areas for over 35 years

My family and I have been using Redmon’s for over 20 years. We have had work done on over 6 cars (probably more) different makes and models thru out the years. They have been able to fix all of them in a timely manner keeping the cost fair. They have always been honest and have never done work that was not needed. Alan is the guy who always fixes my car. I highly recommend this shop to any one looking for a trust-​worthy mechanic that wants an honest estimate on fixing their car.

Seemed like good folks but in our one experience they failed us. We brought in our car after another shop did a front brake job that resulted in badly squeaking brakes with no resolution. Redmon’s said the problem was the rotor surface, which they worked on. But soon the squeal returned and Redmon’s could not turn around a second attempt quickly, so I took it to Brakes Plus in Lewisville. The mechanic there took me to the car to show me that the problem was obvious: the original job used the wrong size pads – too big. He also couldn’t believe Redmon’s didn’t spot this. There also seemed to be a lack of evidence that Redmon’s did much to the rotor surface. Brakes Plus put the right sized pad on and the problem is solved. They also gave me the pads to take back to the original shop if I wanted to try to get my money back, though I probably will just move on. But I lost respect for Redmon’s.

This place is a total rip off. Had my car towed there for a fuel pump and they wanted 1000 dollars to fix it. That would be almost 700 in labor. I called around and found a place in Denton for half the price they wanted. They still charged me a $ 85.00 diagnostics fee after I told them from the beginning I knew what the problem was. Steer clear of this place.

I don’t trust anyone but these guys. I drive all the way from East Dallas to Lewisville for their trustworthy and friendly service (That’s over 30 miles one way!). My family has been using them for over 10 years. They price their services appropriately for the time, parts, and labor… Which is more than I can say for anyone else I ever made the mistake of using. Seriously… if you’re in the dfw metroplex and you haven’t found a trustworthy mechanic yet… GO HERE.

I am always nervous about taking my car to a repair shop. You never know when someone is going to take advantage of you because you’re a woman and don’t know anything about cars. We asked around for some referrals, and a friend recommended Redmon’s. So we gave them a try this week when the A/​C went out and we also noticed a headlight out. Once we recovered from the cost of the headlight (what happened to the days when you could buy one at AutoZone and they would replace it for you?), we found them to be honest and very customer friendly. Judy at the front desk was so friendly that I felt like I had known her for years. The price was extremely reasonable, and I know we’ve found the place that we’ll use whenever we need a car repair in the future.
