Our Center has been helping children and adults with learning-related vision problems for over 30 years, in a full scope optometric practice specializing in vision therapy. Through the use of lenses, prisms, therapy, and state of the art equipment, our goal is to maximize their educational and personal potentials. Our highly trained staff is dedicated to providing the highest quality vision care not only to children and adolescents, but to their families as well.
History
Established in 1977.
By Dr. Kenneth Lane. He graduated from Houston College of Optometry and is an established author and public speaker. The Center was renamed the Lane-Brecheen Learning and Vision Center in 2011. Dr. Fred Brecheen assumed the management of the Vision Therapy Clinic at that time. He graduated from Pacific University College of Optometry, with distinction, and has been practicing optometry for over 20 years. He looks forward to helping those with reading problems overcome their difficulties and improve their self esteem and grades in school.

Business Owner
Born in small town East Texas, Dr Brecheen attended Stephen F. Austin State University and graduated with a B.S. in Medical Technology. He subsequently went to Pacific University College of Optometry and graduated with distinction. He has been an Optometrist for over 20 years and is now specializing in Vision Therapy. He is a member of the College of Optometrists in Vision Development, the Optometric Extension Program, American Optometric Association, Texas Optometric Association, and Dallas County Optometric Society. He has been married for over 30 years to his bride Linda. They have raised three daughters, all of whom are teachers.
