It’s a government office. It is what it is especially in Texas right now the“Two Steps One Sticker”, be prepared to stand in line twice to get all of your documents in place.
I have been here numerous times and all of the clerks have been friendly and helpful. Let’s face it they are managing transactions and doing their jobs, so give them a break. The lines of TDMV are usually long, just be patient and wait your turn. If you need to fill out paperwork then they will let you do that and not make you get back in end of the line.
It’s the Monday before Thanksgiving and there are 3 lines of people waiting outside in the cold. one for the Department of human services, one for DMV and that line is the length of the building and I am in the Denton County Tax Office line for car registration. People are nice an friendly waiting inline.

Very Slow service… they don’t have online appointment for office work… hardly 1 or 2 staff is working…
