Cassiels Salon & Spa

My wife has gone here a few times with a good experience. She went this last time with an awful experience. She got a massage and came out in more pain then when she went in. The women doing the massage gave her a very uncomfortable feeling. When she notified cassiels of the problem she hasn’t gotten a single reply. No sorry or anything. The masseuse was touching her in a way that made her very uncomfortable. Nothing inappropriate just uncomfortable. I would think twice about this place.

Went in yesterday for the first time just for an eyebrow/​lip wax. They were able to fit me in same day for an appointment which was great as I needed it done last minute. The esthetician, Kristin, was very friendly and thorough. She did an excellent job on cleaning up my brows without taking too much off, she also made sure not to miss any of the small blonde hairs on my upper lip that like to hide. The salon is very clean and decorated nicely. Looking forward to trying a hair stylist next.

As a long-​time sufferer of PCOS, I’ve had to get electrolysis on my face for about a year now. Unfortunately, none of the electrologists listed in the Auburn/​Lewiston area seem to answer their phones — I’m not even sure if they are even still practicing. I tried calling around the Portland area as well, but I also could not reach anyone and none of the websites ever responded to my email inquiries.
Finally, I found Cassiels Day Spa, and lo and behold, the receptionist answered the phone on the second ring, and I was able to get an appointment this week (they offer permanent hair removal services on Mondays and Tuesdays).
Cassiels is a unique-​looking spa that was converted from a typical Maine house. It’s beautiful and clean inside with a variety of interesting makeup and skincare products. The electrologist, Ashley, is young but excellent at her job. I received 30 minutes of electrolysis for only $ 35 (It’s $ 25 for 15 minutes, $ 35 for 30 minutes, and $ 45 for 45 minutes). The spa was such an inviting environment that I booked a haircut the same day (for only $ 18). Great place overall — I will definitely be a repeat customer!

I went here for the 1^st time with my girlfriend for a girls spa day. My oh my… OUTSTANDING. We had the most amazing 1 ½ hour massages. I’m convinced our therapists had hands of gold. The massage room was so relaxing, the whole spa was so incredibly inviting and warm. I was so surprised to a find a spa of this caliber in Lewiston. This truly will be my go to spa. I highly recommend them!!!
