Loved loved loved my facial with Lisa. She was very friendly, knowledgeable about skin’s needs and gave good recommendations when I asked. This was also the first time I had extractions and after my face felt great! 5 stars for Lisa– I will definitely be back for another facial. While I was there I also got a manicure which I was not very happy with… The nail tech seemed to be in a hurry, my nails were poorly done and the polish was uneven. For a $ 44 manicure I was not impressed.

I have had Erika cutting and highlighting my hair(at Kenneth’s Polaris location) for several years. She is the rare hair professional who has a mastery of color and brilliant cutting technique. The highlights and lowlights look very natural and I have had many people ask who does my hair after she does a new cut and style. I would highly recommend Erika to anyone looking for a new hair stylist! If you bring a few pictures of looks you like she will recommend the best approach for your hair and shape of your face. She never ‘pushes’ product but always lets you know what she is using to style your hair so you can duplicate the look at home. You never feel like your hair looks good only when she styles it and my boyfriend says my hair is ‘laid out’ after I do it!

Very disappointed. This is my second bad experience, first with a wax and now with my hair. Stylist did not listen to what my concerns were or how I wanted it cut. The when I asked her to correct something she told me it was my hairs fault it was in even. Ok regardless of why my hair was uneven I was asking you to even and you refused. Will not ever return to Kenneth’s and I suggest you do not either.

Worst salon ever went to get style and made appointment month in advance and was told 2:30 and when I arrived I was informed it was 1:30 and I never received a reminder call or change call

There are two reasons I give Kenneth’s Polaris five stars, and their names are Charis and Lindsey. All my life I’ve had blah hair — just nothing special. Since having Charis cut, color and style my hair, I LOVE my locks. It’s like she just knows instinctively what is going to look amazing, and then does that consistently, every time. Every other stylist has pressured me to style my hair more and do more with my hair — or given me a cut that would only look great when styled. Charis appreciates that I don’t have the time or inclination to do much more than wash and comb my wig, and she cuts it to look best despite my minimal efforts. Plus I enjoy the time I’m in her chair — she’s truly just a cool, fun person to be around. Thank you Charis for giving me the hair I’ve always wanted but never thought I’d have! As for Lindsey, she’s a freaking brow artist. She will give you the brows of your dreams every time. She too just KNOWS what will look best for your eyes and face. Due to a busy schedule plus just plain forgetfulness, I go in looking like a werewolf at times and she quickly, efficiently gets me back to rockstar brows. If you’ve never had a brow wax, go see Lindsey and find out just what a difference she can make. If someone else is doing your brows, go see Lindsey anyway and she will still rock your world. I’d never let anyone else touch my brows after seeing what Lindsey can do!

TERRIBLE. I sent my daughter there a couple of weeks ago because she wanted face framing highlights. The stylist recommended was considered an expert in this area. After completing the highlights this obviously was not the case. My daughter told the stylist she noticed no difference in the color of her hair. The stylist stated that the lighting was really bad where she was seated and she MIGHT notice more when her hair was completely dry. It would cost more to have her hair dried and styled. The style is straight hair, but not a part of the service. She did not ask my daughter if she would like to go to better lighting or have a different color applied. She was in too much of a hurry. It would not have mattered, there was absolutely no difference in the color. Later that day this was confirmed when my other daughter came home and asked my daughter who had been to Kenneth’s «What happened? Did you have to work today? I thought you were getting your hair highlighted. «That sums it up. A waste of time and money($ 80).The stylist was rude, inconsiderate, knew the job was not done properly and that the client was not satisfied, yet let her go with a wet head. Very unprofessional.

This is my fave Kenneth’s location. I haven’t been disappointed with any of their services and they always give you coupons for friends!

I stopped going to Kenneth’s after I realized that my stylist was making me feel bad every time I went in. She’d basically blame me for whatever was wrong with my hair and tell me what I should be doing instead. I understand giving out some pro tips is part of the job, but spending the entire appointment telling me how badly I’m jacking up my hair is a bit much. I’m pretty low-maintenance– I’m looking for a haircut, not a litany of reasons that I suck at haircare(I’m already aware of that, thank you). Here are just some of the things that I was doing wrong to those strands of dead cells atop my head: «You shouldn’t be doing so much heat styling!»(I blowdry for four minutes a day. No flat iron. No curling iron. Weekends off. WTF?). «When you dry your hair, you should point the hairdryer down the hair strand, not blow your hair all over the place.»(Uh… what kind of spaz do you think I am?). «You should never part your hair in the same place or you’ll start to lose hair there».(Seriously? There are only so many places I can part before I just run out of scalp!). «You should not wash your hair every day… it’s drying it out».(My hair tends to look greasy and limp if I don’t wash it daily. But yes, great idea. I’ll show up to my job as a supposed professional looking like Kurt Cobain.) «You shouldn’t buy supermarket shampoo. It has Sodium Lauryl Sulfate in it, and they use the same stuff to clean the grease off of garage floors!»(Of course, it’s also in a lot of far gentler cleansers too, and while I know there is debate on the SLS topic, I think it’s fair to say that the strength of the chemical can vary product to product. Oh, and Kenneth’s shampoo has Sodium Myreth Sulfate, which may be a gentler cleanser but it is classified as a possible carcinogen, so let’s not be throwing stones when we work in a glass salon, eh?) And on the topic of Kenneth’s products, this stylist was always trying to get me to buy lots of product. To be fair, I tried them a couple of times, but their«anti-fade» shampoo did nothing to keep my hair color from fading back to my normal color within two weeks, and all of their conditioners made my hair look greasy. When I told my stylist that, she insisted that I must have picked out the wrong one, even though I used exactly what she recommended. Then she told me to buy a different kind of Kenneth’s $ 12-a-bottle-stuff-that-doesn’t-work. I used their«Oomph» volumizer, only to find that it took several washings for it to come completely out of my hair. I wasn’t satisfied with any of the products that I tried there. I kept going back because the cuts I got there were cute and flattering, but eventually the emotional grief was just no longer worth it.

While I used to go here years ago to get my hair cut/colored, I stopped going because of the lack of consistency of stylists. Either the stylist I liked left, or the haircut varied each time I went. I must say that in regards to a spa, this place is awesome! It’s generally very peaceful and there is a ton of talent from pedicures, waxing to massage… This is a hidden gem and it’s right off of Polaris Pkwy, which makes it accessible to many.
