We walked in and asked for Dana as he had sold us our last car. He assisted us right away. We looked at several cars and decided on the Buick Enclave. He set up test drives and took great care of our needs. We highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a new car. He is extremely knowledgeable and sincere. He attentive to his customer’s needs and goes out of his way to please you. He really cares about his customers. Lewes Automall has always taken care of our service also and is always upfront and quick to handle a problem or issue..

We just bought a «new-​to-​us» 2014 Premium Enclave from Debbie last night! We could not have had a better experience! Debbie was so wonderful she got us a great deal and had a dvd installed for our kids! I will continue to buy cars from this great place! Thank you!!!

I took my 2004 GMC Sierra Denali pick-​up to them when the brakes fails last April. They told me it was the main hydraulic brake line had rotted out and is common for these trucks due to design. I gave the go ahead to fix it for $ 1,500 and they called me a few days later to say it was ready. I went to pick it up and once again, no brakes. I immediately went back inside and was told that they then wanted ANOTHER $ 1,800 for calipers, pads, rotors, more hydraulic lines, etc. I had a fit and spoke to the general manager and he reduced it to $ 300 and «ate the labor». Well here I am 15 months and 1,250 mils later and WHAM! The hydraulic line they supposedly did failed again and the calipers are ceased. I called and was told…“Sorry! We only warranty the work for a year. But if you want, we can redo it and offer a 10% discount’. REALLY 10%!!! I took it to First State Chevy in Georgetown and will NEVER recommend anyone, not even my worst enemy, to NuCar Lewes Automall or ANY NuCar location PERIOD!!! Chris Dagesse, you have a LOT of work to do there my friend. Customer service and professionalism doesn’t exist, just read the reviews here and on Google.

I bought my new car from them in 2013. There was no pressure to buy and just helpful friendly salespeople. And since then there have been no problem and it has been a pleasure to work with the service department personal.

I hate the car buying process. Most people probably do as well. You often feel like you’re selling your soul to the devil, and during the process, you might even feel like you’d rather have your appendix removed through your mouth (or some other opening) than to continue to work with a new or used car salesperson.
We went to the Automall yesterday looking for a used car for my wife. We had no intention of buying yesterday, as we were simply looking. Three hours later, we drove away in a very fine used car that was within our budget. The staff at the Automall was friendly, professional, and explained everything that was happening throughout the process.
You could a whole lot worse in your car buying experience, but I don’t believe that you will find a better experience than the Automall.

Always excellent service at Lewes Automall. Whether buying a car or having one serviced, the dealership is excellent. Our sales agent, Dennis, was extremely helpful. The service department works hard to make the process painless.

Dennis, Peggy, JB and Bob all took excellent care of me. Treated me like a real person, not just a customer, but a friend. This is my second car purchased from Lewes Automall and I never plan to go anywhere else.

On Thursday, 5÷22÷14, my husband contacted this dealership via their chat line, then afterward communicated via email to inquire about the White Youkon XL Denali they had advertised. He was told it was available.
My husband explained we were from NJ, and would have to take the 8:30am ferry to get to their dealership. The dealer made a 10:30am appointment with us. As of 5:15 last night, we were told the vehicle was still available, and they closed at 7pm. We booked our round trip ferry ticket, costing us $ 88.00.
This morning, Friday, (5÷23÷14), at 7:55am, we got an email REMINDER from the dealership CONFIRMING our 10:30 appointment, and that they looked forward to assisting us.
We arrived at the dealership at 10:15am, seeing the one and only White Yukon XL Denali in the lot. Odd thing was the vehicle had temporary tags on it, with yesterday’s date 5÷22÷14.
For one quick moment we thought, «Did they sell it without telling us?» We both looked at each other, and agreed that it couldn’t be. We got an email appointment reminder this morning! If they did do a «Bait & Switch» knowing it would cost us $ 88.00 to take the ferry to their dealership, it would be the lowest, sleaziest sales tactic we’ve ever encountered.
Guess what… THEY SOLD THE VEHICLE YESTERDAY (5÷22÷14). The salesman tried to tell us they sold it 20 minutes before we arrived. Now, I have bought many a car over the years, and the time-​frame of selling it «20 minutes ago», does not add up. It’s usually quite a drawn out process requiring at least 2 hours! So yeah, he lied.
Apparently, the silly man didn’t think we had noticed the date on the temporary plates. He was more than happy to offer us another vehicle instead., of course costing more money.
He was exposed to a few «Jersey» 4 letter phrases, and we left. We wasted 4 hours of our day sitting inside our vehicle, on the ferry. Can you believe we got all of this entertainment this morning for $ 88??? Do yourself a favor, SKIP THIS DEALERSHIP!

I recently had some body work done here and not only was the work done professional, but the cost was more than reasonable. Tony in the service area was more than gracious. The Lewes Auto Mall has a larger dealership feel with the small town kindness. I will be suggesting here to many in the future. Thank you Tony and the entire staff.

First class treatment!!! We brought our Nissan Quest to the Lewes Automall after our van sat for 3wks with our local mechanic, then he was unwilling to repair the van. We met Jason, the service advisor, who was courteous, polite and patient as we explained our situation. They quickly diagnosed the problem and gave us a loaner since the part would not be in until the next day. As it turned out, they were able to get the part the same day and repair our van to our complete satisfaction. Very happy with our experience and would definitely recommend!

Terrible experience, unwillingly help or to work with us: We went to Lewes Automall to get a new key made for our car after losing ours. The dealership was able to make us a key. The key, however, only worked in the ignition, failing to work in the door locks or trunks. The the old key worked fine in the door locks (truck, passenger and drivers side door locks) and the ignition;
Unhappy about this we went back to get a new key made only to have the same lack of resolution to our problem. After the parts department was unable to make us a working key, we spoke to a Lewes Automall employee working at the service desk. We felt the employee was rude, defensive and unhelpful. He offered no apology/​empathy for our frustration (having received a part their company made which did not work 2 times), no reasonable solution, and seemed to not care about fixing our problem and told us that we would have to pay $ 100 diagnostic fee upfront.
At this point we just wanted a working key. Because the door locks/​trunk worked fine previously, I find it highly unlikely (statistically improbable) that all the locks could break at one point (as the dealership seemed to suggest). This leads me to the conclusion that the key machine had made a faulty key. Regardless of the cause, we believe as a certified dealer and service provider of Chevrolet’s, that their company should be able to make a working key.
