After changing ownership«That Pizza Place,» formerly known as «Segesta,» has gotten so much better. From the delicious food and new additions to the menu(my personal favorite deep fried Oreos) to its hipster-esque interior décor it has become the pizza place I wish my friends and I had when we were in high school. The staff is so friendly and ALWAYS greets us. It’s a so much more relaxed environment and the music is on point. Essentially«That Pizza Place» is worthy of 5 stars and I recommend everyone stop by and try some of their specialty slices.

Previous owners had a good thing going great neighborhood place. New owners ruined it from the get go by painting over a community mural with cartoon food!!! Really?

Needed food for a party in a pinch last month so i called up Segesta in hope they could help me out. Ordered 3 pies, tray of Cesar salad and a tray of penne alla vodka and rolls. Food was delivered on the time requested and still hot! They supplied napkins, plates and plastic silverware. Even accommodated my request for cold shredded mozzarella cheese for the pizza! Now and then whenever I’m in the mood for a slice, i swing by. Each time i go in there, they have a new style of pizza available. I just had a Zitti w/chicken slice and for dessert the Nutella slice. Both slices were on point. Look forward to what they come out with next!

Place used to be half way decent with rude service. Now it was bought and is bad food with rude service. Much better pizza minutes away. Check out Umbertos.

Sorry I could not have given it a half star but it is what it is. The Neapolitan pizza must have come out of an ellios box, because that what it taste like, flavorless and stiff. I have been living in the area since 97 and just go in a pinch. I think it would be ok, but not. Umbertto’s is the place to go next to ivvarrone bros. it is safe to say that seggesta will not get my business ever again.

Was in the area yesterday and was in the mood for pizza HAHAHA when am I not in the mood for pizza. Service was fast and friendly, and the prices were fine. I had 2 Sicilian slices too go as I was waiting for my daughter who was near by. The pizza was not good at all, I got thru the first slice and started on 2nd and then tossed it after eating about ¼ of it. Pizza had virtually no taste at all sauce had no flavor at all, Felt like I would of been better off eating the cardboard box. definitely would not go again

The people who don’t like this place are snobs. Its a pizzaria! Great food, great people and at a decent price. What more do you want? Some people said the lady behind the counter was nasty? Boo hoo! Not everybody likes you! Get over it. Eat here!

Been coming to this pizza place for 6 years, and I have never had a bad experience with the food or the service. Sicilian pizza is sooooooo good. Specialty slices are off the hook good. hands down the BEST white pizza ever. The Alex slice, with chicken and meatball, is also great. As is the vodka slice, & philly cheese steak slice. Regular pizza is also good, but I don’t come here for regular pizza. But if I do it’s always good. Sometimes it gets busy, so maybe the service isn’t exactly all smiles and social, but that happens. No one has ever been rude to me. Only bad thing is sometimes they close for vacation or holidays, and I get disappointed when I go for my favorite white slice, and they are closed. I won’t go anywhere else for white pizza.

Grew up going to segesta all the time. I don’t know what has happened to the place. The pizza is mediocre and the employees aren’t the nicest

Came here Sunday for their wing and beer deal. You can come for the 1 pm/4 pm game and eat all the wings you can eat and drink as many bud lights/budweisers you can drink for $ 22. I was a bit iffy about this place after reading all of the reviews of the poor service. But the waitress we had was very friendly and very attentive ! This deal is good if you plan on eating and drinking a lot if not its a bit on the high side. From what I had it was probably a good deal. I had 4 or 5 plates of wings(6−7wings a piece) and 4 beers. Wings come out piping hot. Mild sauce was good and wings were fairly meaty. Teriyaki sauce was ok a little on the salty side. Their bathroom is located in a very awkward spot inside the kitchen area. You kind of feel like your going in the employee bathroom. All in all I came here with a small group of friends. Ate some good wings, had some drinks, watched some football and laughed. Was here for about 4 hours and the time flew. Place is small on the inside. Can’t comment on the pizza but the wings and our waitress were nice. I’ll be back.

You don’t go here for a cheese slice. Segesta’s is all about the specialty slices. The buffalo chicken slices, the vodka margarita slice, the calamari slices, etc. there’s not one thats bad. All the pinwheels and rolls are great too. Don’t usually get«food»(pastas, etc.) from here so can’t speak to that though. Inside it’s an old school kinda place, always a game on to watch or someone to have a convo with. Summertime you can even eat outside(though wantagh ave. is noisy) and they grill on the weekends as well for additional options.

My boyfriend and I come here pretty often because it’s just right around the corner and I’m crazy about their stuffed meat slice but boy, does the service suck. Whenever you walk in to order, the girls at the counter look at you like you’re interrupting their insanely important conversation. I know it’s a pizza place but they could be a little more professional/welcoming.

This was my go-to pizza place growing up within blocks of this place, but due to the constantly increasing prices and poor customer service, myself and my family have switched to neighboring pizza places like Spasso’s and Umberto’s. I’m a bargain hunter, so seeing all these coupons they post weekly, I get excited to use them. Every time you want to use them, it’s a problem, and the woman who usually answers the phone gives you an attitude. I have ordered almost everything on the menu. The food is pretty good overall, but the portions keep getting smaller and the prices keep going up. You get much more for your money at most neighboring pizza places and way better customer service.

I waited for two minutes being the only person at the counter while the cashier just stared at her nails without acknowledging me. She then gave me an attitude as I ordered a slice to go. Very rude. Drive south on Wantagh Ave and go to Umbertos. Better service and better pizza.

Used to love coming here since I’ve recently moved to Levittown & live a few blocks away. Last night I placed an order for delivery & stated I had a coupons from one of those books. The coupon stated«enjoy one pizza at 50% off the regular price-max discount $ 5» first of all pizza is never that cheap so how does that math work out? Second the girl on the phone had such an attitude and immediately said«coupons like that are for pick up only» and kept insisting it was. However this coupon said NOTHING about pick up only. Finally after speaking to a manager he granted the coupon. Upon receiving the pizza, it was the thinnest pizza I’ve had from there & the crust was so burnt!!! I’ll never be coming back here again. They’ve lost a once happy customer. I’ll be taking my business to Porto fino. The pizza is tastier and the staff & kind.
