Positive Image Salon

Saw the reviews on Unilocal so I tried this place out. Went in and got an appointment the same day. I Wanted a new place to go near home. Everyone was so nice and friendly. I got a cut and highlight for a decent price and I am happy with my new look. I will go back again.

I loved the place, I really never stay with my hair color was different but today I am very happy cutting and hair color are beautiful.

This salon was fantastic. I was in town for a wedding and they did an updo and makeup for me and an updo for my daughter. Everyone was extremely nice and they did a great job!!!

It’s a great place to get your haircut and Emily is an awesome stylist. The salon is a little on the pricey side for a guy, but you get a lot for your buck. Everyone is very friendly and they always offer me a cup of coffee. The place has a really cool atmosphere and I never have a problem getting an appointment. I also found the salon thru Unilocal and decided to give them a try. I’m still here 6 months later.

It is so hard to find a good salon and a good stylist. My search is finally over, Ashlie at Positive Image is awesome! I told her what I wanted she gave me the haircut I wanted. Everyone is so awesome in this salon! You walk in most salons and all the employees are snobby. When you walk in Positive Image you are welcomed like you walked into a old friends house. If you are looking for a salon Positive Image is it don’t look any further!

Chose the salon for a haircut based on Unilocal reviews and location 3 miles from where we’re staying. Was able to get an appointment the same day. Emily did a great job cutting my hair, started on time, and was most pleasant as was the receptionist. Will definitely go back when in the area.

There is still NO other salon like this salon!

I had a hair consultation with Ashlie a few days ago after going to a different salon to get highlights and hating the results and the hairstyle. Ashlie and I figured out what she would do for color, highlights and cut and so I had my hair done a few days later. My hair turned out terrific! Amazing color, highlights and cut. I booked my next appointment before I left.

I found this Salon through a Unilocal Search. With 6 prior, 5 Star Ratings, I decided to give them a try and I’m sure glad I did. My biggest concern was Hair Coloring. I’ve been getting my hair colored for nearly 20 years, with mixed results. Sometimes I’d walk out of previous salons with still a little gray visible and other times I’d walk out and within a few weeks I’d start to see grey. My previous Salon would apply the coloring in less than 3 mins and after sitting in a chair for 30 mins, they’d cut my hair in 9 mins. My 2 visits to Positive Image was more than I ever would have expected. They take their time, everyone is really friendly. The owner, Dana, understood my concerns and gave me a great coloring application that lasted nearly 5 weeks, which is the results I was hoping for. And when I got home and carefully looked in the mirror, I could not find a trace of grey. And the cut was perfect, as well. She took her time and it all worked out well. On my first visit, Ashley did my hair and I was equally pleased, as well with her cut and color. All k can say is if you’re unhappy with your coloring coverage at your present Salon, you got to give this place a try. As you can see from my previous Unilocal Reviews, which are mostly negative, I am really picky about who I review, so when I find a new establishment that I really like. I believe they should be mentioned in a positive light.

I learned of Positive Image through Washington Crossing Inn’s list of wedding vendors and decided to use them because of the reasonable pricing and they would come to my hotel on the wedding day with fewer than 3 people on the booking appointment (some other vendors required payment for 3+ people in order to come to the hotel). I worked with Dana the entire time and she was mostly responsive to emails, but it would sometimes take a few days since she is the owner and very busy. She was always responsive to phone calls. As someone that never gets their hair done I didn’t know what to expect but showed her my inspiration photos and she took great care and would always take my suggestions and work with them even if it didn’t turn out exactly as planned on the first run through. With 2 weeks left to the wedding my friend that was going to do my makeup was having some medical problems and wasn’t sure she could make it, Dana was able to add makeup to my wedding day appointment and again took all my suggestions and worked them until it was perfect. On the day of the wedding there were some dress issues in the morning when she arrived so I was 30 minutes late getting back to my room to start our session, she was patient and calming, which I was incredibly thankful for. I had to step out several times during my appointment to deal with day-​of issues, and I felt bad for delaying her so much, but again she was fantastic, took care of me and I absolutely loved how both my hair and makeup came out! In fact, my hair held up so well, I wore it the next day to brunch which was awesome to get a second day out of it. I’d recommend Dana and her salon.

You won’t regret opting for Positive Image. They welcome you in like family and take total care of your hair. I have curly hair, which is a nightmare for salon artists, but I walked out feeling sharp, clean, and feeling like a million bucks.

I have been going to Positive Image since it was Ginger’s and I was 12 years old. My mom went here and my whole family. This is a wonderful salon where they always remember you and it feels like you’re catching up with old friends. Even when my usual hair dresser is booked I can go to another girl and know I can trust her. I do not trust any other salon with my highlights. I’ve been there for cuts, proms, formals, everything and I have never been disappointed. Every stylist here is talented, professional, and great to talk to.

This salon is the best. All the employees are very courteous and very proffesional. My hair cuts come out amazing.

This place is phenomenal. The employees are lovely, and it’s a wonderful atmosphere! They listen to what you want/​need and if you have any questions all you have to do is ask. They do great updos for proms and events, too!
