This is a true Levittown bar through and through. I’ve been here hundreds of times. Place is always full of interesting characters. Most would label it a dive bar I consider it to be a local bar. Bartenders and managers have always been cool. Prices for food and drinks are really reasonable. Food menu consists of standard bar fare well priced and prepared.

Great burgers decent enough drinks close to home never a disappointment have a few pool leagues and clubs there so it can get crowded or the week but not a bad place to stop off for a quick nightcap

Since I moved away from center city, I’ve been looking for a home base bar that is neither filled to bursting with douchy white baseballs hats nor crammed with the over fifty crowd. What I want from a bar is a place where I can drink more than just the American standards, have a decent conversation, and not get hit on by old men. Murphy’s provides all of these things with the added bonus of having pretty decent food too. You won’t find anything fancy here, just a nice bar with a few pool tables, a few TV’s and some video games, but that is really all I need to be happy. On top of all that, the Thursday bartenders are freakin awesome.
