Our preschool/child care/kindergarten specializes in providing high quality care for children, ages 13 months-Kindergarten, with an add’l summer camp experience up to 5th grade for families in Levittown, PA and the surrounding communities.
History
Established in 1958.
Emilie United Methodist Church started the preschool as an outreach to the community after the building of Levittown. The church identified a need for child care for the working families and preschool for stay-at-home parents to provide opportunities for socialization and preparation for formal schooling.
Meet the Manager
Alison A.
Manager
Alison started at Emilie Christian Day School in 1988 as a preschool teacher. In 1992, she was promoted to director of the facility. After a re-location move in 1995, she returned to Emilie in 2000. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and a Master’s degree in Education, specializing in Reading.
Alison is an adjunct instructor at Bucks County Community College and holds board positions on the Bucks County Association for the Education of Young Children, as well as the Quality Child Care Coalition. She is a mentor in the Keystone STARS program.
She manages a staff of 20 very dedicated, highly qualified and educated teachers who provide excellent early care and education of the children who attend the program.
