History

Established in 1989.

Class Carpet first began as a small store in East Meadow, NY. As the business grew, we relocated to a much larger building in Levittown, NY which allowed us to display a wider variety of flooring products.

At one time, we had three locations on Long Island and one in Manhattan. Our main warehouse and showroom remained in Levittown, NY and still is to this day.

Most of our customers have known us for a long time and they always come back. They are always very pleased with our level of service, the quality of our work and of course our prices.

We’ve been serving Long Island & the Five Boroughs for over 25 years. As we grew over the years, we began servicing many commercial accounts, such as Apartment Buildings, Architects and Designers, Contractors, Daycares, Hotels, Hospitals, Professional Offices, Property Managers, Restaurants, Schools and all other Commercial space.

Business Owner

Alex has been in the flooring industry for almost 25 years. He began with Giant Carpet in 1987 as a Salesman. He learned a wealth of product knowledge, as well as Customer Service skills. He became very interested in flooring, design and helping people find the kind of flooring they want at affordable prices. A few years later, he began growing more interested in the aspects of Business Ownership and then decided to open his very 1^st store in East Meadow, NY called Class Carpet.

His passion for flooring, design, customer service and above all, building lasting relationships with his customers is what keeps him going after all these years, and what drives his success for over 25 years as the Owner of Class Carpet.
