Vinda’s Tailoring

I used to get great service from Vindas but, I brought her in well over $ 500 worth of yoga clothes, and dance-​wear to have altered. All of the items were spandex based and stretchy. The original thread in all of the clothes are elastic. Now each item including a $ 90 top were altered using regular thread. So when I put them on they didn’t stretch anymore and cut off circulation. The expensive yoga top ripped when I put it on and ripped when I took it off even more. She was too cheap to go out and buy elastic thread which is not ridiculous.
Since I was paying $ 7 to $ 15 dollars per item, she should have used some common sense, and use a similar thread to the one the items were already done with.
I am EXTREMELY disappointed, I had to take the items and send them to another woman to have them repaired. she has ruined the $ 90 top. Oh I forgot to mention the three lifeguarding swimsuits that I use for summer work were also sewn with regular thread. They don’t stretch and these are my uniforms. I had to pay her over $ 80 to get my stuff back that was all sewn with cheap thread that doesn’t stretch.
Cash only business.

I always go here for my suit tailoring. They are very nice and offer professional tailoring services in a timely fashion. Although it is cash only, when I was two dollars short they were so nice they said don’t worry about it. And when I returned later that day with the two dollars I owed, they wouldn’t accept it! Good people.
