We provide the highest quality services to the public all while taking pride and the best care possible for the amazing horses we get to spend time with. We offer horse riding camps and lessons. We also have horse shoes.

History

Established in 2000.

Brandy McDonnell first began Blue Point Stables by training & showing horses for Clients in 2000 under the name McDonnell Performance Horses. Later, the name was changed to Blue Point Stables in an effort to reflect that additional services were also available.

Brandy then began instructing individuals with riding & showing lessons in both English & Western Pleasure disciplines. When Client’s desires for other disciplines surfaced, Brandy was quick to accommodate those requests.

As Blue Point Stables progressed, other equine services such as Stall & Pasture boarding were added. We began hosting overnight layovers, for traveler’s horses.

Blue Point Stables Summer Horse Day & Night Camps for young riders began in 2010 & really took off in 2011 & 2012.

Birthday & Group Event Parties held at B.P.S. are rapidly gaining in popularity.

Brandy McDonnell has been involved with horses for over 25 years. Her love of horses drove her to choose a career in the horse industry. The early part of Brandy’s career was spent on the AQHA (American Quarter Horse Association) show circuit. She has shown countless horses, earning over 500 AQHA pts., several World Champions and she has been awarded the coveted AQHA Professional Horseman Award for Tennessee from AQHA and the TQHA (Tennessee Quarter Horse Association).Today, Brandy focuses her career on teaching. Her students are young and old, beginners and advanced riders. She loves the thrill of seeing a horse and rider come together as a team!
