Amazing business! Broke down on the I-​5 and 41. From the minute I called they were extremely helpful! They calmed me down, helped me find a tow truck, gave me directions. When the tow truck dropped us off at the shop the owner stopped what he was doing to help us. After he established it would take a while to complete the repairs he had one of his employees drive us to the store and drop us off at Best Western. By noon the next day we were back on the road. The van has never ran this good! Finally found an amazing mechanic who is courteous and honest to women!
My only regret: we live over 5 hours away from the best mechanic I have ever done business with!

Tony, the new owner of Rons Auto in Lemoore, and his crew are a find in Lemoore. Having a mechanic you trust is every bit as important as finding the right health care professional, Tony’s team does the job right from the outset. But what I really like, is the fact that Tony will call you and work creatively with you, to find solutions to expensive problems.
My last Jeep ordeal had the U-​joint fail at the rear differential, taking the pinion yoke with it. Tony spent hours trying to locate one locally, the dealer nearby quoted an outrageous number that neither one of us could choke down. Since Jeeps are like Harley’s, you can add more stuff to these things than I ever thought possible, we were able to locate the part at a Jeep website in Pa., ship it here overnight for less than a third of what the dealer quoted.
Tony installed the part for a very reasonable cost, and I still came out less than a third of what the dealers cost on the part was alone.
As long as I live in the Valley, and Tony’s in business, he will have my business.

This review is base of a mechanical stand point and I do believe that the owners came on pretty nice.
I’m pretty mechanical incline but at time, I feel lazy and rather have someone do it for me.
A few months ago, I took my truck into Ron auto to get the clutch change. Ron, was a pretty nice guy, said i’ll get my truck back within a day or two but that didn’t happen, I took about a week.
The first red flag was that he did jobs and charged me for it without telling me or asking me if he could do it. For example, I changed my speakers a few weeks prior and I didn’t get have enough Plastic Door panel trim retainer which cost about 5 dollars for a bag of 12, but I’m lazy so the door panel was loose. Ron «fixed» the door panel and made my door lock out of line and charged me 40 dollars for it. I can no longer lock my door from the inside and need to lock it from the outside. Unless I take out panel and re-​algine the panel.
The clutch job was good, he did a very good job on it. But when I got the truck back, he said, the starter is making weird noises when you start it up. He told me to come back in a week or two and he’ll take a look at it and see if he could figure out what’s causing it. Any good mechanic or mechanic incline personnel know that all you need to do is shim the starter to stop further damage the flywheel and the starter.
He also told me that the’s worry about the pipes under my truck and the exhaust. He said they are holding up by a chain and blah blah blah. What he didn’t know is that the cutback is brand new which were installed about a month before the clutch went out.
I feel like, if you make him feel like he could make a few bucks off of you, he will take advantage of you. I shimmed my own starter and the noise went away. So go there at your own risk. If he feel like he could make you come back to him, he will. I’m pretty disappointed. I really wanted to find a good honest mom and pops mechanic to bring my truck too. I support mom and pops places for oil change and small truck to keep them in business. Oh well

Made a potentially costly mistake putting a fluid in the wrong place under the hood of an older car. Not only did they save my vehicle, the price was right and the service was A+++. Additionally, the owner is one of the nicest most genuine people you would ever want to meet. Why can’t more businesses in Lemoore be as efficient and productive with great customer service to boot.

A lifesaver! Our car was having problems on our trip from the Sierra’s back to the coast. Pulled into Ron’s and he took a look at things, fixed the problem in a jif– while we kept cool in his ACed office– & had us back on the road in no time. We couldn’t have asked for a more positive experience. Thanks to Ron & his crew!

I am very disappointed! I came here because my family has been bringing their cars here for years. I dropped my car off monday morning left 3 ways to contact me and made sure and reiterated several times to get ahold of me through one of those outlets to give me an estimate FIRST!!! I had to call two days later to check (I understand that places can get busy so I wasn’t in a super hurry but two days for an estimate?). When I finally got a hold of Ron he informed me my car was done and ready for payment… last I checked it’s California state law that you have to give me some kind of estimate before doing anything to my car. The total was more then I can afford at this time, the reason I wanted an estimate first so I could know if I needed to wait till payday or not, he won’t give me any kind of payment arrangement and suggested a credit card as a solution. I am very upset with this service and the only good thing I can say is although I didn’t get an estimate they seemed to finish my car in good time. But overall I am VERY disappointed. After bringing all of this to run the tension he did let me do I have to pay ment and the other half from my next paycheck… So they get two stars…

Cons-​incorrect contact information on building, no ability to contact a person after hours, no instructions on what to do with vehicle after hours.
While commuting from Hanford to Fresno my radiator blew out and I found myself stranded after hours. I tried to call the number on the sign which was incorrect. The area code their had been changed to 559 but the sign wasn’t updated. Once I figured that out I called and left a message and left a note in the drop box. I heard music in the building but there was no response when I knocked. I decided to leave my car and hope it was safe there.
The next day Ron called and confidently gave me an estimate but needed to get a better look under the hood (i should have left the hood unlocked). His confidence made me feel that he was a legit mechanic. (i was considering having it towed to my normal mechanic) He did a quick pressure test and committed to getting it replaced the same day, assuming he could get the parts he needed from Visalia. He offered to correct a few other issues for me and gave me estimates for those as well which I accepted. I could have ordered and replaced some of the items myself, saving some money but it was convenient to have them done on the spot.
The overall cost is more than if you would have ordered them yourself but you would be waiting several days. Radiator cost 150 compared to about 100 online, hood supports 70 compared to about 30 online. Labor is the average rate at 80/​hr, although I know of some shops at 60/​hr. Labor charge for radiator was 144.
My experience was mainly with just Ron but it appeared that he works with his wife who is in the office. They are a nice couple. I wouldnt ave any problems using this shop in the future.
