I bought a car from these guys and boy do I regret it. Five days after buying the car the check engine light came on. I was told I would have to spend approximately $ 800. The ad said this car was ready to go, nothing wrong with it. I was told it had been gone over thoroughly, it had not. That’s just a small example, my complaints are too many to list. Huge mistake buying a car here take my advice and go somewhere else.

I bought a ’98 VW Bug from Kingdom Klassics about 2 years ago. I paid around $ 5,000 in full. This car turned out to be the worst LEMON! I lost count of the many times it broke down on me. I have paid over $ 3,000 in repair costs, from a faulty electrical system ($ 600) to a bad heater core ($ 1,000) and everything in between. I understand this car was an older car but I paid over $ 5,000 to Kingdom Klassics for it and I was promised that their mechanic would fix any problem it might have had before I drove it home. This car has been nothing but trouble from the start. I could have made payments on a new car with the total amount of money I have spent on this dreaded car so far, and I would have probably saved myself headaches, MONEY, and huge inconveniences.
Recently, it just died on me while I was trying to stop at a Stop Sign and I could not break! Thank goodness that no one got hurt and I did not crash. I just had the biggest scare. I regret buying this car from hell from Kingdom Klassics. I recommend that anyone who is interested in buying a car from here first do a lot of research. I wish I had.

Got a great new Honda today. Professional salesmen and quality cars. Great values. Salesmen make you comfortable. Owner friendly and definitely would recommend his car dealership to others.

I test drove and inspected a 2006 Prius on September 2^nd. I did not at that time have all the money to buy it, so I asked what I needed to do for them to hold it for 48 hours. They said all they needed was a) my name, b) my address, c) my phone number, and d) a copy of my drivers license – all of which I happily provided.
The next day, September 3, at 2:30, they called me to tell me that other people were looking at the Prius. I reminded them of their promise to hold it until 3pm on the 4^th. They then said that it was no problem, but that it would be «best» if I could pick it up by 10:30am. I said I would try to be there by 9:30am, and we ended that phone call with that agreement made.
The same day 4:30, they called me back to tell me that they’d sold the Prius to someone from L.A. When I reminded them AGAIN of their promise to hold it for me, their response was «Well, I’m sorry.» I then asked for the owner of the establishment to call me. He did not do so.
When I’d heard nothing by the following day, I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau of San Diego. Over the course of that complaint, Kingdom Klassics out-​and-​out lied to the BBB, saying that they had asked me for a deposit of $ 100, and that I had refused to pay it. At no time did anyone at Kingdom Klassics ever even *mention* a deposit, let alone ask me for one.
Mistakes happen, and I understand that. Had they apologized for their error and made some kind of offer of recompense, that would have been the end of it, and I would have been satisfied. Irritated, but satisfied. The fact that they compounded their error with an outright lie, however, is inexcusable.
In the interest of completeness, I will say that they offered to locate an equivalent car for an equivalent price for me. However, that by itself, in the absence of any admission of their error and without any sincere offer of apology, is worthless. If I can’t trust them to tell the truth, how can I ever trust them to sell me something as important as my primary mode of transportation?
I will never use Kingdom Klassics for any vehicle purchases, and I will actively dissuade everyone I know from doing so.

This place was great! I’m a college student and went there looking for my first car. During my visit they were extremely helpful! They were so nice and completely honest. They were understanding of my situation and showed me all the cars available within my price range. Friendly staff. Would highly recommend!

So I sold my mustang to buy a corvette. Turns out the vette was a total p o s, not to mention the fact that it is a car that will never suit me.
I started shopping around for a used BMW, and saw that this place had a couple of them on their lot for far cheaper than any private party– or dealer on Craigslist.
As a guy that does not like or trust car dealers, and has always gone the private party route in the past, I thought I would swing by and take a quick look at what they had for giggles.
My experience was very pleasant. I didn’t feel the typical used car salespuke hassle. Instead, the guy working there, Irvin, helped me out and we cruised around the neighborhood for a bit. I intended to check out a few more lots before making an offer. Cars in my price range at other lots were all crap. 2hrs later, I returned and bought the car.
I have been fortunate with the car. It had some minor defects, but at the price I got it, I had planned on budgeting a bit for minor repairs– and I have not had any bad luck surprises.
Bottom line is that this experience surpassed my expectations to the point that I felt compelled to announce it. I will definitely be checking them out when I’m in the market for my next car. And, i am a real life random customer of these guys. Cheers!
