Description

Specialties

Red Oak Recovery’s adventure-based young adult drug and alcohol treatment program is like no other. Our focus is on clinical care, addressing substance abuse and the underlying emotional issues that are always present. Sometimes these issues predate drug and alcohol use, and sometimes it is the other way around.

We believe in addressing all issues in a simultaneous and integrated fashion. Our Master’s level clinicians hold dual credentials, licensed in both mental health and clinical addictions. Our program is small enough that we can individualize care for each client.

We also help the family heal. Our unique family program helps families recognize what they need to do to stay centered and healthy and to support their loved one in recovery. Research has shown that when the family is involved in the recovery process the prognosis is much better.

History

Established in 2014.

A Holistic Approach

Our eco-therapeutic paradigm leads to a sustainable freedom from drug and alcohol abuse. Young men and women completing our program will have learned, practiced, and developed skills in the areas of nutritional balance, physical engagement, positive pro-social coping mechanisms, and sound social interactions – all promoting a healthy lifestyle.
