Carry A Big Stick.
From Theodore Roosevelt’s use of the phrase «speak softly, and carry a big stick» in 1901 «the exercise of intelligent forethought and of decisive action sufficiently far in advance of any likely crisis» has been adopted by DunlapWeaver as its guiding philosophy.
Our talented attorneys consistently apply Roosevelt’s concept to help clients manage commercial disputes, negotiate business transactions, and protect their intellectual property rights and assets. Whether we are fighting for injunctive relief, helping our clients compete for government contracts, or simply navigating the detailed legal minutia that can make all the difference in a dispute or a commercial transaction, DunlapWeaver lawyers «speak softly, and carry a big stick.»
