C2 Operations

Loudoun Habitat for Humanity builds new homes and rehabs older town homes for people in need. C2 Operations volunteered to help us rehab a town home in Leesburg that needed significant fascia, soffit, gutter/​downspout repair. They completed the job very quickly and professionally for free, the end result was outstanding. I would heartily recommend them to any one and already have. Good folks, one of the absolute best subcontractors I have had on approximately 30 homes, and on top of that they made a significant contribution..

Very responsive, great customer service. Called me right away to schedule an estimate and had a work proposal in my email right away. Answered my questions and quickly had a crew out the same week I signed for the work to be done. The pricing was fair and I plan to call them for future roofing and siding needs!

I haven’t even had my appointment yet, but wanted to write a review. I found this company on Unilocal and called them for an estimate for a roof issue I was having. Not only were the customer service reps incredibly helpful and polite, they told me someone would call to schedule shortly and I literally got a call to schedule 2 minutes later. Their windows for service are 2 hours, which is much better than the 4 – 8 many service companies give. I will update my review once they come out, but so far I am VERY impressed!

These guys are great! Very professional. Chris came out and gave us a competitive quote on our roof/​gutter replacement that only included necessary repairs. Did not try to up sell us. Quote was received later the same day. We were able to schedule the work quickly. It was performed in a quality manner. They even fixed a few unexpected problems without any additional cost. I highly recommend them for roof/​gutter replacement.

Time for an update!
We have been working with C2 Operations for the past six months since buying a «fix me up» single family home in Arlington, VA. Originally, Chris was hired to re-​do a basement door (exterior) replacement that was installed horrifically by a previous contractor. So impressed with his professionalism of the owner, Chris C, and overall awesomeness of the C2 crew, we had him fix/​repair the current gutters, minor roof repair (THANK YOU FOR SAVING ME $ 5000, CHRIS!!) as well as installed gutter covers. During the recent October 2015 hurricane that brought in record rain, we noticed an issue with one of the gutters, and the C2 team was on it ASAP, within a day, and without dramatics, checked on the gutter and made a little tweak and it was back to normal. I’ve dealt with companies before that when you try to make them do work on their «warranty» and it’s been awful.
Anyway, after dealing with Chris C and his team, and how awesome they are, we decided to push forward our window replacement. We found the price to be more than fair, especially considering that you’re dealing with such great customer service, and the team came in on a cold November day to install 17 new windows. Let’s talk about the window install for a minute:
1) The team arrived on time.
2) The team that arrived was professional and clean. I can’t tell you how many times we hired a contractor and they came in and were so messy! The C2 team cleaned up all of their mess they made when re-​framing the windows, protected the furniture with plastic, and protected the floor as well. They didn’t leave a scrap of broken wood/​screws behind. They even put down protection on the plants outside.
3) The payment process was simple. The contract is very concise and there is no ambiguity.
I really cannot express to you how much I love C2 OPERATIONS. It actually annoys me that Chris refuses to do every home improvement project I want to have because his company is the best I’ve worked with. From the painters we’ve hired, to the plumbers, to the vent cleaners… all have had some «warts» in terms of professionalism and being messy or rude (or all 3, see my other home improvement reviews). The whole home improvement industry is filled with shady folks, so working with C2 is always stress free with no drama. I intend to continue to hire them for my exterior door replacements, chimney and roof repairs that pop up, and any additional work that needs done. I’ll always ask C2, first, before I go to anyone else. Highly recommend. A+++++++

Chris and C2 were complete professionals throughout the process. We had some issues with our HOA and since we live in a townhome we had to be strategic with getting access to the roof and side of the house without disturbing our neighbors. Chris and his team were extremely cognizant of this and did an outstanding job. We had some pretty bad weather come through as well and they rescheduled to work around it but still got the job done right on time. I can’t say enough about these guys and will be using them again the next time I need any work done.

Found this company on Unilocal and couldn’t be happier. They removed the old satellite dishes from a rental property and repaired the shingles underneath. After such prompt service at my rental property they came and repaired a leak on my roof. They offer a roof inspection for a flat rate that covers replacing a certain number of shingles. Both of my properties fell into that category. I waited for a heavy rain before reviewing and I can say with confidence the leak (that another company was already on my roof for) has finally been repaired. Thanks!

We had Chris come over to give us some recommendations for our gutters and roof. He was very honest and made it clear he would recommend only as much as we absolutely needed and could afford in a budget we set.
Chris and his team did an excellent job with our gutter replacement and we will be going back to them for future projects since he has earned our trust.

Chris and Jason are great! I needed a few roof and siding repairs. Chris was very responsive and helpful in getting me an estimate and setting up the work, and Jason did a great job on-​site. The price was also very affordable. I wish it were this easy to work with all contractors.

I’m so glad I contacted C2 Operations to replace a rake capping piece that had detached from the wood frame during some high winds. Mr. Chris Cicotello, owner, was kind enough to come right over the next day to provide an estimate for this particular repair. He also did a roof inspection that identified some expected roofing maintenance repairs for the age of the roof. He quickly developed the estimate/​contract for this work which I thought was more than fair and scheduled the work in 3 business days. I did receive other estimates from other local roofers that came in at higher estimates for the same work. The work was completed on the day promised and done very well. What I thought was truly amazing was that pictures were taken of all the roof repair areas and sent to me via email. Mr. Cicotello followed up with a phone call to explain all the work completed as well as providing a status on the roof condition and potential areas to watch. Do not hesitate to contact this company for your roofing needs. I am a very satisfied customer!

I am very impressed with C2 Operations. Chris was quick to respond to my request for an estimate. He showed up on time. And was just a pleasure to deal with. The most pleasant surprise was when his recommendation was to fix my problem without doing a lot of unnecessary work… as in costly.
From the time I said to do it, he had a written estimate emailed to me that same evening. The actual time frame to do the job was within a week. And most impressive of all was the communication from him all the way up to the day of the job. That was very much appreciated. The tech who did the job was professional and had great attention to detail. I was very impressed when he noticed a few issues on my roof and fixed them without asking me or adding to the cost. I will definitely be using them again. Thanks guys.

Chris at C2 Operations was fantastic to work with. We sprung a leak several months ago but couldn’t afford to have the roof replaced immediately; he sent his guys over right away to tarp it so we didn’t suffer more damage. A different roofer told me he’d only tarp it if I paid him for the roof — hello, then wouldn’t I just have the roof done? Chris was responsive to calls and emails, patient in going over every single detail of the process, and very knowledgable about products and options. He did not nickel & dime us. His price was extremely competitive and he had a reliable team. They were also very clean — they put tarps down over the yard to catch debris and he personally went around with a magnet to pick up any wayward staples, etc. By the time they left, there was no evidence they’d been here at all! They also installed gutter covers and replaced some missing siding. Our new roof looks amazing. I can not say enough good things about Chris!
