Went here for a vehicle inspection. The gentleman at the desk (Preston) was very friendly and polite. King Street Coffee is right across the street, which provided a very pleasant place to wait — which wasn’t long. Preston called me when my car was ready. I will be back for oil changes and repairs. Nice local place.

I took my work truck in for a state inspection and a brake job at the end of the day. They knew that I needed this truck back as soon as possible so they completed the work and had it back to me in less the 24 hrs. Need a state inspection? It’s the first of the month… and I know I am not the only one who forgot to get my car inspected last month. So, off I go expecting to sit in the line at the service station all day. The first place I went said they don’t have an inspector currently, and they suggested Auto Solutions. I recall picking up a friend there when she dropped her car for service a few months ago — I remember her commenting that it’s the only place they take their cars. So, off I went.
I arrived about 1130, she told me the inspector was booked until lunch and asked if I could come back at 1230. I left and headed to run an errand. But that was done in 15 minutes. So I headed back to the station and told them I would just wait so I could be first in line after lunch. I headed back to my car, and began making work phone calls. Within a minute or two the inspector came out. He said there was no reason for me to wait, he could get my car done in a couple of minutes and he would go to lunch after that. By 1155, my car had been inspected, I’d had a pleasant chat with the cashiers about their model car collection and family pictures lining the shelves, I paid, and was on my way.
What a pleasant experience. What a hidden gem. I think I will have to give these guys a try next time our vehicle needs service.
