Bell’s Sporting Goods & Hardware

We have been purchasing from this store for years during our annual trip for a reason. Although we stay in June Lake Loop, we drive into Lee Vining to Bell’s (across from that market with the wooden bear out front).
First, they DON’T hire hung over ski bums who don’t know and don’t care to run their store, unlike their competition. Next, every single time we have stopped in, they have gone out of their way to help and unlike those on the loop, were extremely knowledgable. Baby night crawlers ARE baby night crawlers. They’ve never sold us frozen or dead worms. Had to replace a pole tip last year and the cost of the tip INSTALLED was only 5.00. We appreciate that they never gouge the flat landers. Always have some fishing story to tell. Place is clean and well stocked, not overpriced. We will always make the quick drive to Bell’s.
