After 15 years in computer systems and network administration, I discovered a great interest in web applications, web design and website design & development. Because I found it fun and satisfying, and since friends and colleagues were already asking me to build websites, I started Redshirt Web Studio. A «redshirt,» you may recall, was the guy on Star Trek who likely did not survive the away mission. On the surface, the Redshirts seemed expendable; but when considered closely, they were the ones who did the important, yet unseen, work that contributed to the smooth operation of the Enterprise.
