The doctors at Advanced Eyecare Associates not only provide annual eye health examinations, they also diagnose, manage, and treat an extensive array of ocular diseases. Additionally, they participate in the fitting of contact lenses, including speciality contact lenses such as multifocal and keratoconic lenses.

Advanced Eyecare Associates enjoys caring for patients of all ages, from infants to the elderly. Our patients benefit from exposure to the most modern technology available in ocular medicine, and receive the individualized attention necessary to meet their needs.

History

Established in 1977.

Advanced Eyecare Associates was established in 1997 by Randolph Brooks, OD, as a general practice in suburban Northwestern New Jersey. Currently, the practice employs two additional doctors, as well as one full time optician.

Meet the Business Owner

Dr. Randolph Brooks.

Business Owner

Dr. Brooks is a graduate of the State University of New York– Albany and The New England College of Optometry. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Optometry, having taken and passed his board certification exam in the first group of candidates.

Dr. Brooks has written dozens of articles on clinical and patient care topics, and continues to serve as a consultant in the ophthalmic pharmaceutical field, as well as to the contact lens industry. Dr. Brooks achieved his Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry in 1984, and continues to maintain active membership.

Dr. Brooks was the first New Jersey optometrist ever elected to the Board of Trustees of the American Optometric Association. In 2009 – 2010, Dr. Brooks was elected as President of the American Optometric Association.

Dr. Brooks is married and has three sons. He is a proud grandfather to four adorable little girls. His hobbies include fishing, biking, photography, and traveling.
