History

Established in 1987.

Kaufman & Florence traces its roots to 1953, and the then law firm of Young & Jones. William H. Kaufman joined the firm in 1971. In 1979, a friendly division gave birth to the firm of Jones & Kaufman, which evolved to Kaufman, Florence & Rittgers in 1982, and then to its present Kaufman & Florence in 1987. Mark Florence joined the firm in 1980. Wm. Robert Kaufman joined the firm in 2001, and became a partner in January 2006. The firm has historically provided services in the general practice of law, with an emphasis on civil litigation, real estate, banking, business transactions, estate planning, probate, domestic relations and criminal law.
