GEORGE E. FAVA, M.D. — Ophthalmologist

Dr. Fava graduated summa cum laude from Boston College and Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts. He went on to complete his medical internship at Lankenau Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1978, where he became licensed by the Medical Physician and Surgeons. He performed his ophthalmology residency at Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia Pennsylvania where he continued to study and master his skills. After completing his medical/​surgical training and fellowship, specializing in cataract/​implant surgery, Dr. Fava came to Lebanon, Pennsylvania and opened his practice in 1982. In addition to performing cataract implant surgery, since 1984 Dr. Fava has specialized in Refractive Surgery. In 2005, he expanded our surgery center facility to include the AllegrettoWAVE Laser System. This laser system, used to perform LASIK, well surpasses the competition providing wavefront optimized treatments for each patient. Dr. Fava h
