In its simplest terms, periodontists are dentists who treat gum (periodontal) disease which is mainly caused by plaque

bacteria, and affected by other factors such as pregnancy, medications, smoking, diabetes, heart disease, and other health

conditions. In addition to treating gum disease, periodontists offer a variety of cosmetic procedures such as gingival

recontouring /​reshaping of the gum to enhance the smile line, gingival augmentation /​gum grafting to cover expose and

sensitive root services of the teeth and dental implants to restore missing teeth in a permanent fashion.

Established in 2002.

Cornerstone Periodontics and Implants has been a practice in Concord, NH since 2002 and our new office in Lebanon was established in 2013.

Meet the Business Owner

Austin W.

Business Owner

My name is Dr. Austin H. Wang. I’m a Board-​certified Periodontist, and received my undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Illinois Urbana/​Champaign, College of Liberal Arts & Sciences.

I received my Doctorate in Dental Surgery degree from the University of Illinois College of Dentistry and completed my residency training at the University of Louisville, School of Dentistry in Louisville Kentucky. I earned my Masters degree in Oral Biology along with my specialty certification in 1996. I am a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and belong to a number of dental organizations. I have devoted my professional career to all aspects of Periodontal practice with special interests in the treatment of cosmetic gum procedures, reconstructive gum and bone procedures, implant therapy for tooth replacement and laser therapy. My hobbies include running, biking, traveling and chasing after my two daughters.
