I like Planet Sub sandwiches because of the delicious, lightly-toasted, baked fresh daily wheat bread, the delicious meats, the fresh toppings, and the friendly service. I have found this location’s service to be especially fast. The Tuesday special is especially sweet($ 2.50 for a 6″ turkey sub and $ 3.20 for a 6″ turkey club). Add just $ 2.59 for chips and a drink, and It’s a great deal for a delicious lunch.

Awesome sandwiches like at all Planet Sub locations, but this one is my favorite of the ones I’ve been to because they have the best service. They tend to be understaffed, so there can be a bit of a wait, but it’s worth it for fresh sandwiches. The staff is always polite and have smiles on their faces, and don’t get annoyed when I switch stuff up(bacon mushroom melt with light lettuce, light mayo, no Swiss, double the provolone.) Love their outdoor seating area too.

Delicious veggie subs. My favorite sub place. A little costly but well worth the money. Tried it on a small business Saturday so I got a $ 9 sub for free from AMEX. I would go back and would take friends and family members to this restaurant.

My favorite sub place. Great to go with friends and family. The only thing is that they only have one type of bread. Everything else is great. The inside feels very homey. A great place to go.

A great place to bring the kids on Monday. Kids eat free. The menu is straight forward and pretty good.

I became a fan of Planet Sub due to frequenting the location nearest UMKC. However the one near my house(95th and Mission) is a DISASTER. The staff are reliably and generally unfriendly for inexplicable reasons. Moreover, they never — ever — get my order right. I’m a big fan of vegetables and I always ask for a tempeh reuben, ADDLETTUCEANDTOMATO. Every time. EVERY. TIME. And it actually happens about 10% of the time(no exaggeration). It’s these sorts of mistakes and others like them, that have me totally and completly boycotting this location. In addition, there was some sort of recent issue about cashing in the stamp cards due to some sort of fraud going on. Having had several of the cards around the house I rounded them up and tried to use them, but wasn’t allowed to. Again — total disaster. Planet sub has a good thing going in most locales, but 95th and Mission is truly horrible.

How can you beat the $ 2.50 turkey sub(or a turkey club for $ 3.20) on a Tuesday? I love the bread that they bake homemade at Planet Sub, it’s a yummy honey whole wheat that makes their toasted subs something to write a Unilocal review about! I’m not usually a sandwich girl, but Planet Sub had me at «fresh baked ‘Abso-freakin’-lutely’ delicious bread, that is baked fresh daily.» On our most recent visit, I stayed true to the value and got the turkey sub; always a satisfying lunch(especially on a Tuesday!). My daughter couldn’t resist my favorite, the Pesto Bella(with chicken). This sub is amazing, always, regardless of which meat you choose(you can choose up to two). I have found that whatever location you visit, they consistently deliver delicious, fresh subs, courteous service and a great value. If I’m going for a sandwich for lunch, you will definitely find me at Planet Sub!

Hot sandwiches are the best sandwiches. That’s why I go to Planet Sub. This location seems to run a little more efficiently, which is perplexing since they also have the chill skateboard dudes running the ship. The staff is really sweet and can get me to crack a smile on the worst day. Call in your order and you can have a super fast, economical and yummy lunch!

Great soup, sandwiches, and salads. Make sure to get a punch card to earn free grub, and stop by on double-punch days.

Planet Sub is a great place to get a hot sub, quick. There are lots of chain sub places that boast there quick subs or their toasted subs, but Planet Sub has the market cornered on both and they’re not even a national chain! Planet sub has cold subs just like any other place, but I’ve never had one because their hot subs are phenomenal. You walk in, peruse the menu and place your order at the counter. The cashier will then give you a playing card and a cup if you bought a drink, you will then find a seat and wait. Another employee will come out of the kitchen with your sub wrapped in tin foil and yell out the card«Ace of Hearts!» If that is your card– then that is your sub. Once you receive the warm metal-wrapped bundle of flavors and temporary happiness, you proceed to undress(the tin foil) and dig in! I recommend the«Creamy Club,» you won’t be disappointed.
