For all you tender-​headed ones out there, Zach is your man. What a wonderful change to be able to relax in my chair while my hair was being done, I never even had to say a word, he is just instinctively gentle. The color looks fantastic and the price was right. It’s a triple win-​win-​win, and I couldn’t be more pleased. Thanks again Zach!

OK folks, here is the situation with this place. I am going to give the management a chance to correct this problem, but till then I am disappointed with this place and rating it as such. I decided to do something special for my girlfriend and made an appointment to have her hair colored and cut. I asked for a price quote and was told it would be around $ 75 to $ 100. I agreed and they made the appointment. The appointment was for 1100 and they said they would call to confirm the day before. The plus side: 1) Her hair looked great 2) They were very friendly 3) Clean place The bad side: 1) They never called to confirm the appointment the day before like they said. 2) They failed to provide me the 20 percent discount for first time hair coloring… because I didn’t print the coupon from home and bring it in. I thought it was automatic for fist time customers. (This would have been $ 30.00 off) 3) The quoted $ 75 to $ 100 dollar hair cut and color came to $ 210! Coloring alone was charged as $ 150 alone! If it was going to be this expensive, I would think they would contact me to let me know there was a change to the original quote. I was told it was the type of color they used (Special Treatment), but I am the only one that was treated special! 4) When I dropped my girlfriend off at the salon, they said the appointment wasn’t till 11:30, when I clearly recorded the appointment in my planner while talking to the employee at 11:00. 5) Most of the treatment done to my girlfriend was told to her that she needed it and they were going to do it. This business clearly took advantage of the situation and tried to make as much money off one customer as possible. So I left a message for the manager to contact me, and we shall see if things are corrected, but until then folks, please watch out for this establishment. Make sure you get price quotes in writing and question every treatment they provide you.

My mom has been going to Tom & Ann’s for a really long time. On her recommendation, I went in for a much-​needed haircut. I saw Darren, & he was great. I had a vague idea of what I wanted, he took that idea, & I got a great style. I’ll definitely be going back whenever I’m in Leavenworth.
