This donut shop changed hands a few months ago. Before it did the donuts were really great and the service was excellent. Since the new owners have taken over, the shop has slid straight down hill. The donuts taste like day old products. The sausage rolls have enough bread around them to make three sausage rolls and the sauges are tough. They look and taste like those crappy sausages in convenience stores that have been on the grill for 12 hours. Costumer service is non-existent. The people are rude and act as if customers are a nusance. Because it is in walking distance to my home, I have given this shop a try several times, hoping against reason that things would change. This morning I was there when two customers came in and wanted glazed donuts. Something you would think is the main staple of donut shops. The men were simply told that the shop was out of glazed donuts. Now this may have been okay at 10:30 or 11:00 when getting near closing. But this was 7:30 in the morning and there wasn’t even anyone in the kitchen preparing anything fresh. If you want donuts in this area, take a little extra time and go to Donna’s next to 24 Hour Fitness. The service there is fantastic and the donuts and other products are always fresh.
