Description

Specialties

Cascade Refining specializes in small lot purchases of gold and other precious metal coins, jewelry, and other scrap. We do not have a minimum lot size. We also sell gold and silver coins.

History

Established in 1974.

Cascade Refining was founded by Craig Wright. He saw a need for an honest and reliable precious metals refinery in the Salt Lake Valley area and opened Cascade Refining to serve the precious metals refining needs of the public. Many of the gold buyers at the time, and even still today, were and are misinformed on the proper ways to test gold and other precious metals which means they accidentally purchase“fake” items as real so they must pay less for all the metals they buy to make up for this loss. Being a chemist, Craig knew the proper ways to test gold and other precious metals which ensured that he could buy items at a higher rate with confidence. These same practices are still being used today by Cascade Refining which is why we are the highest paying scrap precious metals refinery in Utah.
