We came here on a Monday. Was busy but not crazy. The staff was unprofessional. We only saw our waitress three times, 1.) to order drinks 2.) to deliver drinks 3.) to order food. Another staff member brought our food and checked us out. No refills, no check iNs, nothing. The food was okay. The only thing that was good was the house salad and the bread. My ribs were dry and overcooked, and had very little now sauce, my daughter did not like her Mac and cheese and my other daughter didn’t touch her ribs either. My husband got the medallions and he said they didn’t have seasoning and they weren’t good. We love Texas Roadhouse and would go regularly(in Texas) and never had such a horrible experience. Too bad.

We really enjoy this place. Great food. Yummy peanuts and amazing bread. Yeah there are shells on the ground but they sweep them up nightly and not as bad as you’d think. The drinks are always good. The margaritas and margaritas like drinks are great. Their beer is also cold and great from the tap. They have a variety of steaks which is their big thing. I’m not crazy into hunks of beef but there beef is good and not to insanely priced. A little salty though. The chicken dishes on the menu are good. The pork chops are really amazing. I love the steak fillet salad. The steak on that is usually perfectly medium-rare or rare like I order it and it’s melt in your mouth tender. Honestly better than the regular steak options. We bring our daughter here with us usually and it’s very title kid friendly.

Took my son out while visiting for his Army basic grad, nice restaurant, waitstaff was exceptionally good. Wife enjoyed her Country Fried Chicken and my Son devoured his 16 oz rib eye. I had a rib eye as well and it was OK, the cheese fries were amazing as was the baked potato.

Best steak in town! Ribs are really good! Everything is always consistently good. Update. Only once in several years have we had bad service but the food was still good. It was a Monday night with a lot of young kids working and not paying attention.

Still best steak in Lawton for the price but they must have ALOT of turnover in kitchen. It’s perplexing when someone’s only job is to cook steaks right and it doesn’t happen. Last 3 times we have been here and orders medium steaks they came out medium well/well. Just ridiculous we don’t even complain anymore just accept it as part of this place now.

Treated my wife and kids to a steak house. After moving from Tacoma, WA, we had passed a lot of steakhouses along the way and the wife was craving for it.

Normally, I have the ribeye steak and baked or mashed potatoes with a salad. Best meal in the world. And their salad is great too I chose to try the chicken pieces which is on special before six and it was such a surprise. Hand breaded and juicy. I loved it! I will most likely order it again. It gets a four because I hate their«you can’t be seated until everyone is there» rule because my husband and I like to meet the kids and sometimes share an appetizer while we are waiting. The price for four of us was about fifty dollars. Not bad for four people. Hamburgers are priced well too though I haven’t tried them.

I’ve eaten at a few Texas Roadhouses, and frequent the one local to my home in CA, but we were staying in Lawton for my brothers boot camp graduation and heard from many that this place was the best place in town for a good steak. I have to admit, although I have always had great experiences at this chain, I was a little reserved to go since I typically prefer to try the local eats when traveling. I sure was glad we decided to go, by far best Texas Roadhouse I’ve ever eaten at! So if you’re in Lawton, stop by!

I love this place! One of the very few places I go in town to eat and end up completely satisfied! My food is always good no matter what I order! Jay and Hilary are amazing servers and I ask for one of them each and every time I go. Best place to get a steak in Lawton!

Wow — freshly made bread every 5 minutes and cinammon butter with every basket… no wonder I gained a few pounds on this very short trip to Oklahoma! Despite being a chain restaurant, Texas Roadhouse made sure that our table was very well taken care of. Our waitress was extremely attentive and very fast to take orders, clear plates, and refill drinks. Our steaks were huge and prepared perfectly(definitely try their bone-in rib eye and don’t forget to add mushrooms on top). I only wish that they had smaller portions of the premium cuts of steak(I barely finished ¼ of mine) and despite the casual whimsy of being able to toss your peanut shells on the floor, it gives the restaurant a slightly dissheveled vibe(and we were there to celebrate a graduation and act«professionally»). But still, Texas Roadhouse delivered us a great meal and we walked away with fuller bellies and lots of leftovers.

We travel constantly as Business Consultants. We actually train Customer Service onsite. Most of the cities we visit have Road House which has become a staple for us. A nicely prepared meal, great atmosphere, and reasonable prices. Recently we visited Road House in Lawton, Oklahoma. This was after a grueling drive on I35 to Lawton. Our waiter, Joshua, was the most fun yet polite guy. He entertained us with his kindness. I think Joshua should be a Customer Service Trainer. I wish Undercover Boss had been there. Joshua, thank you for helping us feel at home. No rush, alot of tea, and your smile said it all. Believe me when I say if someone travels alot and trains Customer Service, we are all too critical of what we spend our money on. ROADHOUSE, keep him. It’s so hard to hire people who are like Joshua.

The service is quick and the food is consistent for the chain. If you visit, be prepared to find parking especially during holidays.

Service is great, I know what to expect. The food is wonderful. Of all the steakhouses available in lawton, without thinking, Texas Roadhouse is one the top three; that’s great for a chain place.

Not as good as I would’ve liked, sorry to say. Their chicken strips were done what I call ‘tempura’ style. Overly greasy, not my style. Also, I tried their cactus… whatever it is, they don’t do onion rings but they do this ‘cactus’ thing. They made sure it was crispy but overall I think it’s a waste. Probably should’ve ordered a steak instead.

Well I guess I’ll give it a 3 because food was good. We did tell waitress when we came in that it was our 6 year olds birthday, she said they would sing to him & he was very excited. After about 4 other people having happy birthday sang to them we reminded waitress our son is still waiting and very excited. She said she doesn’t like to sing but would find someone who did. After another 15 mins we paid bill, heard another 3 – 4 birthday songs, then my husband talked to manager and FINALLY my son was thrilled to hear there version of happy birthday. Of coarse he doesn’t pick up on the attitude of the waitress or the fact that it was very short compared to everyone else’s song. Anyways not where I will b spending another birthday or $ 80

didn’t even want to give it one star. we went with co-workers and we all ordered steaks 4 out of the 5 steaks were«balls» of meat. When we tried to cut into them they literally rolled on the plate. I have been going to Texas Roadhouse for 2 decades and this Txroadhouse serves the WORSTSTEAKS! The steaks was full of gristle. And the attitude of the manager on duty explains why this Txrdhse isn’t worth the time nor money. Go to OUTBACK for BESTSTEAKSINLAWTON.

Our waitress Meg had excellent customer service and was very expeditious in retrieving our order and clearing the table of unnecessary dinnerware. As we sat down she started us off with some drinks and recommended appetizers for us; we’ve never been to a Texas Roadhouse so the added kindness made us feel better about our dinner choice. I was amazed at the peanut shells on the ground, which heightened my expectations of how great the good is said to be. I ordered the fried catfish while my husband settled for the ribeye dinner. For an appetizer he chose to order potatoe skins and fried pickles; when I tell you I was full just off of the complimentary bread and the two potatoe skins!!! I felt I might bust however I knew for my sake that I had to try my entrée. I was not impressed by the fried catfish however my husband loves the ribeye that he ordered. The shrimp was nice and tender as well with just the right seasoning(I reached over and stole one). Our loaded mash potatoes was great as well. I will definitely come back to try another entrée because the fish wasn’t cutting it but I cannot say anything was horrible here. I hope I helped with those that are inquiring about eating here. Happy Eating!!!

Food was excellent! Some of the waitresses and this restaurant’s PR person are not nice. We called ahead to reserve a nice table for 7. We arrive and they put us in a booth with an extra table stuck on the end instead of their larger round booth. This might be fine if everyone in our party could easily navigate physically. This wasn’t the case so we asked if we could have the empty larger table. We were told ‘no, that’s reserved in case we get a larger party’. We asked to see the manager and they pressed harder that it is reserved in case a larger party comes in. Ugh. Manager arrives(and by this time some of our party has vacated), says yes we can have the booth and gives us their best waiter. J was awesome! Food was timely, tasty and correct. A magician even came by to do a couple tricks for the kids! So cool.

Loved Loved this place and whenever I come back to Oklahoma definetly coming back. The atmosphere was loud and great. Peanuts on the floor was a reminder from the past and very cool to be able to drop them after you crack’um. Service was friendly, all the waitress n waiters were pretty cool. The food was to die for!
