Staples

I hate to ping these guys for the condition of the exterior and interior, but this Staples looks old. As in, tired and worn out. It was clean, so I guess it is a situation of either close the doors and leave, or keep in old worn out building clean and hope for the best.
Two worker guys stopped by and asked if I needed help in the first five minutes I was in the place.
I have no complaints about this place, but I would not go here for major purchases.

Manager Michael Hall and his horrendous associate Taneisha don’t like waiting on people, helping people, or fixing their mistakes. I turned a printing order in and was guaranteed delivery by 10:30 the next morning. The order was done sloppily and when I pointed that out to Taneisha, I told her I needed it redone immediately as I had to leave on business and time was of the essence. Taneisha told me that she had other orders to do first. NO! my order should have been done right the first time. STOP WHAT you are doing and do it over! but, INSTEAD, she went off to answer the phone leaving me standing there for 2 minutes while she chatted away on the phone. So I went and asked another clerk to find me a manger. Michael Hall came back and I explained that I needed to go and that I needed my work redone ASAP and that Taneisha had walked away and WAS STILL ON THE PHONE behind him. He stood there like a buffoon staring at my stuff for almost a minute and finally I said «you can keep staring at it but that won’t make it right»…and, HE FLEW OFF THE HANDLE! Told me that I had an attitude and that they weren’t going to fix the problem and that they «weren’t qualified to handle my business». You know what? He’s RIGHT!!! Staples is NOT qualified to handle my business with an attitude like that and a manager that thinks it’s ok for an associate to walk away from a customer and answer the phone. So, took my stuff to Office Depot and they did it in 10 minutes and I was on my way!!! Michael Hall is the worst manager… NO CUSTOMER SERVICE skills! No ability to act as a manager! A good manager would have immediately cleared out the copier and did my job… not stood there like a fool trying to figure out what to do!!! INCOMPETENT!!! and… total a**hole !!!

Staff is friendly & helpful & it has all you’d expect in a Staples.

Meh… I have never been too impressed w/​Staples and this past visit does not change my opinion. I bought a beautiful desk and hutch at Staples a few yrs ago, but I waited and watched for the sales. Eventually the furniture will rotate thru on sale. I generally consider it overpriced and shop elsewhere.
