This is maybe my 3rd visit to this restaurant and so far I am pleased. The waitresses are nice and make sure to check on you frequently. I like that you can seat yourself and it’s pretty spacious. The parking lot is not the best but that doesn’t make a difference on how the food tastes.

The counter is the most horrible place to sit cuz you get to watch people scratch their faces, pick up bread with their hands, stack plates on top of food, and pick up garbage from the floor all with gloves on that they never change. I just watched someone use their hands to massage the eggs on a plate. 10 mins earlier, she’d used the same hand to dry a space on her shirt where water had dropped. I’m not sure I can come here again.

Stopped this morning. Was pleasantly surprised. Everything was delicious and the service was excellent. I would recommend that if you are in the area to give it a go.

Overall, food, and service was good, no problems. Hot fresh food, and the employees are polite, and check on you frequently. I gave it four stars, because it is a little more on the pricy side.

Usually go on Sunday and split an omlete with pancakes and toast with the wife. Went alone today and found two eggs with bacon and toast would cost more than a 3 egg omlet with pancakes and toast. why?

I’ve been to this place 3 days in a row and loved it every single visit. That almost never happens so… this place deserves a five star rating!

Good breakfast items. Very old fashioned. Breakfast and lunch only. In a hurry and don’t want all the calories of rich ihop food. This is a nice alternative. And right near a park if you have kids. Take the kids to the park then feed them lunch there.

Service was friendly and efficient. The dining room was clean and comfortable. The prices are higher than a typical breakfast joint but this place is a lot nicer inside than the average greasy spoon and the menu was much more interesting. The coffee and the wheat toast were good quality. The rest of my meal was not. I ordered the special feature: Santa Fe Skillet. It was supposed to be «crispy» hash browns topped with scrambled eggs, carnitas(pork), cheese, green chiles, onions, a southwest red sauce, and fresh avocado slices. The pork was terrible quality with no taste or flavor and a really weird texture. The avocado, which looked so nice in the photo and is part of why I chose to order this dish, was a FROZEN avocado product and tasted every bit as awful as frozen avocado sounds. The southwest sauce, which also sounded like it would be good, tasted like marinara with a slight kick, it did not work with the dish at all. The hash browns weren’t crispy as advertised, just mushy, wet, white, and very bland. There was minimal cheese so I wasn’t able to really taste whether it was good or not. The onions and chiles were plentiful but also tasted like they came from a can or freezer. This was probably the worst breakfast I’ve ever had, it was a disappointment on every level. I salt and peppered the heck out of it but to no avail, I couldn’t eat more than a few bites. I enjoyed my coffee and toast(nice quality bread) and called it a meal. When I went to cash out, my friendly server eyed my barely touched platter and asked if I wanted a to go box. Nope. I might be back and try something else. For now, I feel like my meal was a huge waste of food and a big disappointment, so I’m not hurrying back for an $ 11 inedible breakfast anytime soon. Had the dish been as advertised in the photo and as good as it was described, it would have been worth every penny. Sorry that just wasn’t the case!

Being from Colorado I am not totally used to super heavy, stick to your ribs, southern food. So when we found this place I was pretty excited to see some healthier options on the menu. The service was good, the food tasted good and the environment was clean and comfy. All in all I would say this is my favorite place for breakfast in Lawton. The only reason why I gave them 4 out of 5 starts was because the food was not 5 star quality, but it was good food and good service.

I had heard this place was pretty decent so I decided to give them a try on a Saturday morning. I wasn’t too terribly disappointed. I ordered the Farmers Scramble. It was very delicious except for the fact that half of my «home fries» that come with the scramble were way overcooked. They cook the potatoes separately and then top them with the scramble. I understand some people like crisp potatoes, as do I. However, these were burnt. The scramble came with a choice of bisquits or pancakes. So I decided on the pancakes. Nothing special, but tasty and cooked perfectly. The sweetness balanced well with the«savory» scramble. My waitress’s name was Ally and she was outstanding. Within seconds of me sitting down she was at my table with a pot of hot coffee. She was very polite, attentive, and my order came out fast and hot. Definitely will be here again. They definitely know how to cook eggs. One thing I appreciated was that I noticed a manager compliment the«busboy» that he was doing an outstanding job. This showed me that they care about their employees as well. A business with happy employees is usually a successful one. When decent employees feel appreciated, they’ll take pride in their work and themselves. Overall impression: Food: Delicious but specify for the potatoes to be cooked lightly otherwise half of them might be burnt. Service: Excellent. I didnt have to wait too long or ask for anything. Very polite staff. Cleanliness: I didnt have any complaints. Overall the place was very clean and professional.

Was staying at the Cottonwood Suites and it is right in front of their parking lot so I walked over there around 10 am, was super busy. I decided to order out the Farmer’s scramble. Was yummy! I would say try going there earlier or don’t mind waiting a few minutes. They are only open for breakfast and lunch!

Great spot for a breakfast/brunch. There was a 10 minute wait in line when we went but it moves quickly. My order of their spicy Spanish omelet with pancakes came out quickly. I couldn’t finish my meal, so I highly approved with their portion size. They truly understand the meaning of America. It’s one of the top places in the area if you’re in the mood for breakfast.

The first time I tried this location the breakfast was subpar. I ordered a skillet— it was cold and my potatoes were burnt beyond recognition. Totally bummed. Biscuit and gravy was good though. The second time I went I ordered a pancake breakfast with scrambled eggs and bacon. The pancakes were great and the eggs were okay buy the cheese tasted like Craft American when u was expecting a cheddar… bacon was good though.

The food was good except for the bacon which was cooked in some sort of oil that gave it a funny taste. Waitress was very nice but it took a long time to get our food. I would come back but I wouldn’t make a special trip to get here.

First time– had to ask 3 different people to get a refill on a coffee and then had to remind our waitress twice for our side of pancakes. Second try– half of the restaurant was empty so it was pretty slow. Sat there for about 8 – 10 minutes no server came by to greet us or take a drink order. Got up to leave walked past the register. 6 servers were standing behind the counter not doing anything. And not a single person said a thanks for coming or anything. I will never rat here again. I wish I could give no stars it was that bad.

Another breakfast saved by Jimmy’s Egg’s… After another attempt of going to ihop and not being able to order half of what’s on the menu because they were out. We decided to leave and come to JE. Food was better and the wait to be seated wasn’t as long. Thanks for saving the day. Now if I can only convince the wife the divorce ihop… Two stars for lack of service and wait time to get my food.

Great food, Rachel was the waitress, perfect. She made mistakes with me and the table next to me, she owned up to it all and it was clear that she felt legitimately bad. I tipped her 35% because of her pure desire to do well. Restaurant needs a some sort of a dress code. There were some people there that may have well been corpses based on cleanliness. Just went back again today. Same quality of food and service.

Even though the restaurant was relatively slow for a Sunday, my waffle order was wrong and my sausage took an extremely long time to get to the table. The waitress Ms D never apologized, but gave me two sausages and said, «I’m only charging you for one.» …Thanks customer service!!! Shortly there after she asks if we wanted a to-go box… Well to say the least she only brought my husband a box for his omelet. I still had half a waffle, two sausages and a bowl of grits! I started to wonder if she was okay? Did she have a hearing, sight or comprehension issue? Hmmm… To expedite things, I crammed my waffle and sausages into my husband’s box and quickly ate my grits(again, no to-go container for me), so I could enjoy the rest of my breakfast at home. Now I will say that the senior waitresses are amazing here if your lucky to get one. Management may want to consider training new or inexperienced staff on the fine art of listening, confirming, cook and waitress dynamics and checking food orders for accuracy, correcting(if applicable), delivery, checking up on customers and refreshing beverages and closing the ticket and telling the customer you appreciate them coming in and to come again soon… Also let customers know about any new menu it specials.(2 stars experience) Update: Sunday April 27, 2014. Great service from Misty. We were seated quickly, food came out fast(and correct). Misty our waitress checked up on us, and was extremely pleasant. Overall I was pleased and had a fantastic experience.(5 stars) Avg star rating for 2 experiences 3 stars.

Jimmy Eggs in Lawton has a variety of breakfast foods for any appetite. The waffles and breads are made fresh and to special order. The only draw back is this location gets very busy on Sunday after church. They generally don’t have enough table bus-boys and if you get a junior server then you order may be delayed or come to the table wrong and they don’t take carry out on Sunday when they are busy because people waiting in line have priority. Once you’re seated the senior servers are excellent and the managers follow up. If you’re in a rush keep driving but if you enjoy a good surthern breakfast after church it it well worth the wait.

I’m a big guy. I eat alot. I love Jimmy’s Egg. Let me start by saying I am a big believer in breakfast foods. I love them. Nothing better than starting your day with a hearty breakfast. I have been there three times and I am stuck on the meat lovers skillet. The portion size is the enormous. Fried potatoes, sausage, bacon, and monteray jack cheese. I ordered an extra side of bacon(crispy and delicious), and a side of biscuits and gravy. The gravy is outsanding and the biscuits are light and fluffy. I can’t get enough of this place. It’s just what Lawton needed. The lines are a bit long, especially on the weekends, but that is to be expected. The service is fast once you sit down, and I really can’t think of any thing negative about Jimmy’s Egg!
