Hurricane Grill & Wings

Ordered the voodoo punch. It is was a good drink. Just ordered from appetizer menu. Food came out hot. Average fried food. Waitstaff friendly & professional. Women’s bathroom desperately needed attention.

Third time here. Food is okay. Fast food basically. I was surprised when I tried to order the lunch portion on Saturday they said they couldn’t do it. Most places just add a dollar or two if your order their specials on days not available. But the meal was too big. I ordered the fish tacos. Husband ordered chicken sandwich.
They brought wrong food to is – the lady’s order next to us. The hen when they brought our order my husband got the wrong food. The lady next to us had an incomplete order and didn’t get rice until near the end. She had to ask two different people.
Not sure we will come back. Food is too salty and if you don’t have fast service why eat mediocre. I could go to McDonald Taco Bell etched and get better food faster.

This rating is based on my only experience which was a to go experience. Don’t go in and order to go call it in service was sooooo slow. I ordered a salad and it tasted good why I gave it 3 out of 5. So I ordered salad and it wasn’t cheap anyway it was around 10 $. I wanted extra chicken and so that was s mistake because that added another $ 5 to the cost. So all in all I left with a 15 $ salad live and learn. Not sure I will be back it’s pretty overpriced for what you get.

A very friendly and accommodating wait staff! Very large selection of wing rubs and sauces, similar to BWWs but with their own touch. I had the lettuce wraps for lunch, and they were «Ok». Nice, clean, friendly atmosphere and very reasonable prices.

So tragic! Went on a lunch date with my husband here today. Walked in behind a couple with a baby. No hostesses were around so when two walked up they looked at me and I pointed to the couple saying they were before me and needed to be seated. More groups of people walked in. The hostesses returned and began to seat the people who walked in after us! Okay, so my husband says «Let’s just sit at the bar.» So we head over there because the bar is usually self-​seating. In the bar there are also 4 high top tables so we headed towards 1 of the 2 open tables. Just as we were sitting down, one of the hostesses stops us and says that we can’t sit there because she was going to set up the table for… wait for it… the people who walked in after me! But it gets better! Why not the open table behind us?! Wtf. At that point I felt it a better option to spend our money elsewhere and notify the world that the employees at this place have their heads up their ass. Don’t waste your time here if you believe in lines and first come, first serve. You will be disappointed.

I did not like the burger at all. The fish tacos were just ok. What a waste of my time.

Very nice atmosphere, good food, and our service was astounding! Today was my second time here, the waitress, Nicole, remembered my husband and I from the last time we were there AND our drink and meal preferences! I am a bit «ticky» when it comes to dining out but the food was wonderful both times. And, with such delightful service from Nicole, again, I am more than happy to say so. I don’t usually do reviews but, with such a great experiences on both visits, I just had to share.

This is comparable to Buffalo Wild Wings. It’s like wings and grill with a caribbean flare. Hurricane offers more dinner options than Buffalo Wings. My favorite sauce is the Coco Loco. The atmosphere isn’t as relaxed as I would like or expect, but it’s still comfortable. I would eat here again and again.

This is not happening again. For such a new place, I thought the food would be much better. This is by far the worst wing place in lawton. Don’t see this place lasting long.

Great good! Good service, although the service should be a little better. (Super busy and slightly understaffed) we will be back for sure!

Pros:
— great selection beyond wings
— large variety of wing sauces
— service can be really fast
— the sampler is a pretty good deal; fried pickles, chicken tenders, shrimp, and fries for just $ 12
Cons:
— wing portions are awful for boneless wings for the amount you pay. It’s over $ 6 for a snack size, which is just five pieces of chicken no larger than chicken nuggets.
— service can be really off and mess up your order
— drinks are inconsistent in amounts of alcohol and mixers
— it’s clear some of the staff don’t know the menu.
The place is so far fairly inconsistent in both service at food. It’s a very new place so I’ll definitely give it another chance, but I’ll probably just stick to the sampler because the wings are hit or miss.

The service was okay, the food was kinda gross, and the server charged us incorrectly. We had to have our tab adjusted. Overall, I would not recommend this place nor will I return to eat.

First time visit, at the tail end of lunch. First the décor was nice, island theme, and apparently there was a sale on surfboards. The front staff were in disarray and took a bit to find us an empty table. Our waiteress was also a little scattered. Took a good while to get our drinks. Then we ordered an appetizer. Another long wait to get the app and we still haven’t ordered yet BTW. Almost done with the app and finally put our order in. Now the food: we ordered nachos for the app which were good. Tasted like homemade chips but some were tough and hard. I had 2 grouper tacos. Not bad, no sauce, mostly lettuce and about 8 bite size pieces of fried grouper on each. The tortilla was tough in some places and hard to chew. The side if rice was OK but kind of bland. My friends got the pork quesadilla and chicken quesadilla. Both were good but nothing earth shattering. The parmesean garlic fries were the best thing on the plate. So for 1 app, 3 lunches, 1 beer, and 1 soda the total was $ 44. Not bad but a little high. I’ll try again to see if it improves.

I’ve been here a few times and there is some pros and cons but overall a good place. The food id say is good but inconsistent sometimes it’s amazing and sometimes it’s a little dry. But it is a very cheap place to grab a bite and watch the game at the bar. Definitely one of the better places in Lawton.

Waited about half hour to be seated for a party of 9 which wasn’t too bad since we showed up during the dinner rush. Food portions are pretty small. Fish took a while to get to the table, wings are just OK, and they forgot a few of our sides

I cant believe the diffrence in tbe day and night shift. I do not recommend going here for lunch. The kitchen not only messed my order up but the table next to me. It has been almost an hour and still no food. Very BAD!!!

Came here for lunch while in the area. Like everyone else said, seems like a new place. Nice and clean inside, a Caribbean themed joint with island music playing. The menu was pretty full and had variety. I had the lunchtime wings and truffle fries with tea. I think there were 30 flavor of wings, and I had the Honey BBQ. It was a bit watery in my opinion, but the fries were good. Wait staff was VERY friendly, and I’d come back again to try something else.
