Simply put — the worst cable company I have ever had to deal with. Internet looses connection often, cable goes out when it rains or is cloudy. Fees for everything — I’m surprised they don’t charge me a fee to change channels. Wish I could give zero stars…

Agree with the negative stars comment several others have made. They are terrible; their service (internet, cable and customer service) are all awful. Shotty reception, lies about repairs, upgrades, etc. Since having them, I have not had ONE DAY with consistent reception (and it has been over a year). They claim to credit me (due to bad service) then they never take the money off the bill and threaten to cancel. And, in the midst of it all, they call again wanting me to «up» my service and give them more money. They know there are FEW to no options for many people in Lawton and they take advantage. Shame on your company.

Service does not work. Their cable is terrible. The box is overlarge, gets super hot and has highly limited capabilities. They sucker you by lying about the rates. They will tell you for life, and it’ll only last 6 – 12 months.
Our Internet sucks. We dropped cable and just use netflix now. Less hassle right? Well now I have green lights across my extra 2 – 4 something dollars a month fidelity wireless router is green across all the lights and yet I have no internet. It’s not just me. I have 3 other people spread throughout town with the same issue.
It has been up and down for months. And this week alone it’s been off about 50% of the time.
Why the hell do i pay 60 bucks to a company that doesn’t even give me a service. Let me put some perspective. I get unlimited mobile data on two cell phones for a data package that costs less than that. Sure it’s not as quick which is why, oh right, I pay 60 dollars a month to fidelity for Internet! But now I don’t have it even though I paid for it.
So now no games, no xboxone, no netflix, mobile data only etc.
Wish we could sue you for taking our money and robbing us of our services we paid you for like they’re going after nottingham.

I didn’t think things could get worse after moving from Texas and having Time Warner cable & internet but Fidelity takes the cake.
They offer zero support to streaming channels via Apple TV. I already pay for HBO and Showtime but Fidelity does not support these apps (HBO Now, HBOGO, Showtime Anytime or ESPN 3).
This company has inspired me to drop landline cable at my next duty station. It’s overpriced and the customer service is absent.

Wish I could give negative stars. This worthless piece of crap internet is always down. Technical support walks you through «fixes» that you’ve already done to no avail. They make out a ticket for a repair person to come by, then it’s dropped. Never a clue where the supposed ticket ended up. The one technician that came by blamed every component I owned except theirs. I’ve since had every component checked out; working perfectly. Don’t go with these crooks. They take your money and don’t provide service.

The hits just keep coming. Im here in Lawton for work temporarily and I got home to my apt from work on Tuesday to no internet I reset the modem three times and called Fidelity and left my number for a call back this was at 4:30pm they returned my call 45 minutes later at 5:15 pm After I left my apt to get a few things done instead of waiting around for these people to call me back. They tried a few things but couldn’t seem to see what the problem was. I told them I needed internet so I could get some personal things done online and that they needed to get a tech out to fix their screw up. I was informed that the techs stop working at 5pm WTF the screwed things up before that time I called before that time but they DO NOT have the costumer service to fix things after that time? What about those customers that work beyond 5 or 6 in the evening, not everyone has the luxury of taking time off of work to meet the cable repair person in the middle of the day. I get back to my apt. to find the cable working I guess it was an area outage. They have techs to fix area outages after hours but no techs to visit private residence after people get home from work. Fast forward two days I have fridays off and Im online taking care of business and there is a knock at the door. Fidelity tech is here to fix my internet, Two days later! Nice timely response from dispatch. I feel for those that work for Fidelity and have to suffer the wrath of the pissed off customers because managers can’t make good decisions to take care of customers.
Fidelity I hope you read these comments and take some action to fix things to provide stable cable TV and Internet to your customer base. From what I have seen and heard here you are falling on your face and are an embarrassment to cable providers around the country.

The only cable company in Lawton. Our cable channels go off air during our show times, our Internet goes down frequently, can’t record more than two channels at the same time and if recording more than one channel you can’t record a second one without watching it. Also when trying to make a payment over the phone they don’t pick up the line. Not even worth one star.

I don’t even have words to describe how bad this service is. Let me say this. I have filed a BBB, FTC, and AG complaint over it.
I pay for 5MB, get less than 2MB 90% of the time. They send people out over and over and find nothing. Today they decided it was my router and I needed to buy theirs (see previous review for similar line). Techs are rude. Service toggles up when they are here or I have recently talked to them.
They take advantage of people by being the only provider in the areas they serve, so the rates for outdated DSL is way more than you would pay for comparable services from, say, AT&T or Charter.
Today did it for me. I am almost to the point I will sell my house and move back to civilization to get away from them. When I ordered service I asked if 5MB is enough for 2 people to watch tv online. Oh sure, sure. Hockey pucks! Because you rarely see 5MB. And if you tell them the equipment works fine off their system they say they don’t believe you!
It disappoints me companies think they can take advantage of people like this. And they know I am on a limited income because I get lifeline services for the phone that rarely works. First it was never ringing in my house, then it was ringing to other people’s houses, or a guy could be heard in the background and he could hear me (not great for those confidential calls), now people get a disconnected message. How are people supposed to live like this??? I worked part– time from home, but had to give that up living here bc of the piss poor internet.
Oh and it is so professional for techs to come to my home and not only disrespect me, but have personal conversations while I can hear them. I hear they have trouble getting days off., but that is Richard’s fault. Lord. About as professional as asking me they can do to make me happy and not having a clue as to what that would be. How about provide the service you sold me?! They did give me a small credit for the 7 months of issues I have had.

Unfortunately for us Fidelity Communications are the only source of internet connectivity so we are forced to utilize their services.
Be warned, do not involve yourself with this company. Between my husband I, we have contacted Fidelity on both numbers (573−468−8081 & 800−999−2838) for the past six days regarding our connectivity going in and out and the blame gets passed around. I was told by Mike (a Supervisor in Lawton, OK) that a service technician would arrive at my home NLT 4p on June 6^th and that he would personally follow-​up with me at 4p to make sure service was completed; no one showed up or called saying they would be late and no follow-​up was received from Mike. My husband arrived home and called and he was apologized to and told there would be a technician out to our home on the 7^th of June between the hours of 8a-​12p; we had plans to venture into Oklahoma City this weekend but held off to wait for the technician in hopes that our problem would be fixed. Still no one showed up nor phoned to say they would be late. My husband made a call at 1205 and was told by a Technician that there has been an outage in Lawton and the technician was running a bit behind but would be out to our home in the next 15 minutes or so. 1p came around and still no one showed up. I decided to call because our internet went out while I was completing some homework online around 1:23p and spoke with a Technician named Daniel who told me that it was Lawton who is responsible for these issues and they just create trouble tickets in Missouri and there was nothing he could do. He also mentioned that Lawton was closed during the weekends and the information the previous Technician gave to my husband was incorrect and «I don’t know why our Technicians would tell you that when we have no control over schedules». I informed him of what I was told by Mike and that I have been contacting Fidelity since May 31^st regarding the constant outage of our internet and have been waiting since then for someone to come out and fix it. I also informed him that the notes stated someone showed up to our door and we were not home which is completely incorrect. I asked to speak to his supervisor and once again no one can do anything about our internet outage. I was actually told IF I WANTED BETTER SERVICE I HAD TO PURCHASE THEIR ROUTER!
Needless to say I am EXTREMELY frustrated with Fidelity and will draft a letter to the Vice President of Customer Care regarding this lack of communication between departments and disregard to customers and their service. I was threatened and told if they sent a technician out that I would be charged $ 80 if they found nothing was wrong. It is a total shame that this company has monopolized this town and are the only internet company available and provides such HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Stay away from them if you can.

My internet has been painfully slow and I’ve even called a tech and complained about it and he said everything was fine but its been so bad I did a speed test finally and it started around 0.27 megs and went down to 0.17 megs. I’m paying for 1.5 so I wonder how long my signal has been awful? It really has been terrible since I got it but I just assumed thats just how it was.

Never do business with this company. The following is a log of all the Internet issues I had with them when I lived in Lawton, Oklahoma (payed for 10 Mbps, often was getting 2 or less (and yes, I know the difference between Mbps and MBps). Tests were run on multiple devices, with both a direct connection and a connection run through my own router.
September 27^th, 2011, Monday — Technician came by
Called a few days later, another technician came by.
Called Friday, was told service ticket was still open and they would send someone out. Was never contacted again.
Called Saturday Morning (October 9^th), was told a technician should be by Tuesday.
No one came by. Called Tuesday, was told a technician would come by Tuesday night or Wednesday.
Technician came by Wednesday to tell me that they have been having widespread problems in this area and that they were working on it.
Message on
saying maintenance was being done on the 19^th, and to call if there are any issues after that.
Called night of the 22^nd, was told situation was being made «high priority» and that a technician should be by Saturday or Monday at the latest.
Was never contacted again. Called the night of the 25^th, was told I would be contacted the 26^th.
Called 3pm on the 26^th, was told I would be called back. Was not called back. Called at 5pm, was told someone should be out there by 6pm. No one came by, I called again, and the representative left a couple of messages for the dispatcher, but the dispatcher didn’t return his calls. He called me back at 6:45pm to tell me that someone should be out Wednesday morning.
Was never contacted again. Had issues during Wednesday night with Internet. Did test at 12:42am Thursday, and got 9mbps, the highest we’ve ever gotten. Will see if it goes down again.
7:02 PM, Thursday — 1.5mbps
Problems Friday evening, as well. Still never contacted again.
October 30^th, 3:41 PM — 1.5mbps
Called October 30^th, was told that the service call was canceled via phone, which never happened. Rep had me do test, which was around 1.5mbps. He had me do another test a couple of minutes afterward, which was around 2.5mbps. He had me do another one immediately afterward, and it was around 4.5 mbps. Was told someone would be out November 1^st for sure.
November 1^st — Did test at
, download was 9735kbps. Was 9717kbps via router.
November 2^nd test at 2:15 PM at
, Internet was good (over 9mbps)
Was never contacted again. Did test at
at 5:30pm, download speed was 2.5mbps Called and was told I would be called back.
Was never contacted again. Did test at 10:45pm on November 13^th. Speed was 1.7mbps
Various problems throughout. Did test on November 24^th at
. Download was 1160kpbs.
Went into local office with a printed copy of this log on November 24^th. Was told I would be given a refund and have a person come out on Friday, the 26^th.
Called at 9am on Friday, November 26^th. Technician John came out. Spent about three hours trying to fix the issue but wasn’t able to. Problem unknown, though it may be resolved in a few weeks when they go back to one-​to-​one connections. Will not call anymore until January.
Refund was given.
April 15^th, 2011 — Still issues with Internet. Stopped calling as I am moving.

For me, these folks are the only people who can provide me internet service. It’s not fast but it’s also not too slow. It’s not what they advertise and they raised my rate by $ 5 without me agreeing to it, their billing and tech departments are terrible but I guess it’s just about what one would expect in Lawton.
